Look: Today marks a significant milestone for Coast Guard Station Negros Oriental (CGS NOR) as we conducted the Blessing Ceremony and Sea Trial of the three (3) newly donated outboard motors generously provided by the City Government of Dumaguete through the unwavering support of the Dumaguete City Mayor, Honorable Manuel 'Chiquiting' T Sagarbarria.

The blessing ceremony symbolizes our gratitude for this valuable contribution, which will greatly enhance our maritime operations, search and rescue capabilities, law enforcement activities, and overall service to the coastal communities of Negros Oriental.

Following the blessing, a successful sea trial was conducted to ensure the operational readiness and performance of the newly acquired equipment. The results demonstrated the reliability and efficiency of the outboard motors, further strengthening our capability to safeguard lives at sea and uphold maritime safety.

We extend our sincerest appreciation to the City Government of Dumaguete and to Mayor Manuel "Chiquiting" T Sagarbarria for their continued support and commitment to the safety and security of our maritime domain.

Together, we remain steadfast in our mission of serving and protecting the Filipino people.

LOOK: The Coast Guard Station Negros Oriental (CGS NOR) and its Sub-Stations personnel actively participated in Brigada Eskwela 2026 activities conducted in various schools across the Province of Negros Oriental on 01 June 2026.

In support of the Department of Educationโ€™s annual school maintenance program, Coast Guard personnel joined teachers, parents, and community volunteers in preparing school facilities to ensure a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment for students ahead of the opening of classes.

The activity highlights the Philippine Coast Guardโ€™s commitment to community service and nation-building through collaborative efforts that promote education, volunteerism, and public welfare within the communities it serves.

๐†๐Ž๐Ž๐ƒ ๐๐„๐–๐’ : The Coast Guard District Southern Visayas (CGDSV), under the leadership of Commodore Christopher D Auro PCG, District Commander, together with Lieutenant Marionne Abigail F Enopia PCG, Station Commander of CGS Negros Oriental received three (3) donated Outboard Motor (OBM) from the Local Government Unit of Dumaguete City through the initiative and support of City Mayor Manuel "Chiquiting" Sagarbarria during the Monday Morning Colors, Turnover and Blessing Ceremony held at the Dumaguete City Hall on 01 June 2026.

The donated OBM will enhance CGDSV's operational capability in the conduct of maritime patrols, search and rescue operations, humanitarian assistance, and other Coast Guard missions, further strengthening maritime safety and security within its area of responsibility.

Commodore Auro conveyed his gratitude to Mayor Sagarbarria and the LGU of Dumaguete City for their continued support and partnership with the Philippine Coast Guard. A blessing ceremony was likewise conducted to pray for the safe and effective utilization of the equipment in service to the public.

The activity highlights the strong collaboration between CGDSV and the City Government of Dumaguete in promoting safer seas, resilient coastal communities, and responsive public service.
