📢 Successful Conduct of the Management Review for the 1st Semester, SY 2025–2026

The Negros Oriental State University successfully conducted its Management Review for the 1st Semester of School Year 2025–2026 on March 19, 2026 at the CEA AVR, NORSU Main Campus II.

The activity gathered members of the Top Management, Middle Management, as well as Campus Directors and Assistant Campus Directors from across NORSU campuses.

The Management Review served as an important platform to assess the university’s Quality Management System performance, evaluate accomplishments for the semester, and discuss key opportunities for improvement to further strengthen institutional effectiveness and service delivery.

Through collaborative discussions and shared insights, the participants reaffirmed the university’s commitment to continuous improvement, quality assurance, and excellence in higher education. The successful conduct of this activity highlights NORSU’s dedication to sustaining a responsive and effective management system in support of its mission and vision.

In accordance with Proclamation No. 727, s. 2024, please be informed that October 31, 2025 (Friday) has been declared an additional special non-working day nationwide. This is intended to give Filipino families more time to observe All Saints’ Day.

Likewise, November 1, 2025 (Saturday) is a special non-working holiday in celebration of All Saints’ Day.

There will be no classes and office transactions on these dates. Regular work and classes will resume on Monday, November 3, 2025.

📢 ONLINE ORIENTATION ON CHED CMO No. 19, s. 2025

The Quality Assurance Management Center (QUAMC) successfully conducted an Online Orientation via Zoom on the Revised Guidelines and Instruments for Evaluation of Teaching Effectiveness (ETE) in SUCs pursuant to DBM-CHED JC No. 3, s. 2022, as stated in CHED CMO No. 19, s. 2025, on October 29, 2025.

This orientation was participated in by faculty members and QA representatives from NORSU Main Campus I, Main Campus II, and Pamplona Campus, aiming to ensure a uniform understanding and effective implementation of the updated evaluation guidelines.
