PRO7 RANKS NO.1 ON 4-DAY ANTI-ILLEGAL DRUGS ACCOMPLISHMENT NATIONWIDE
The Team PNP Region 7 aggressive law enforcement operations on the campaign against illegal drugs logged the No. 1 spot during the 4-day anti-illegal drug operation nationwide, with nearly PhP9 million worth of shabu seized.
Citing the report from the National Headquarters, PRO7 recorded the highest number of operations conducted, the highest arrest of high-value individuals, and the highest volume of shabu seized from November 26 to 29, 2022, of the consolidated reports on anti-illegal drug accomplishments among 17 police regional offices nationwide.
During the 4-day police operation, 193 drug suspects were arrested in its 155 operations and confiscated 1,311.33 grams of shabu and 15 grams of high-grade Kush Ma*****na, all with an estimated Standard Drug Price value of PhP8,939,544.00.
Also, a total of 167 drug cases were filed during the period.
PRO 7 Director Police Brigadier General Roderick Augustus Alba applauded his Team Bisdak Cops for this remarkable feat in promoting the highest standard of police service for the benefit of the community they had sworn to serve and protect.

The Team PNP Region 7 relentless anti-drug operations are a testament that our strategic thrust, the police 4Cs firmly anchored on the Kaunlaran of the MKK=K peace and security framework of the CPNP, and the 3 basic objectives to reduce crime, reduce the fear of crime and eliminate disorder in crime prevention are working well. Police work demands commitment and passion. We cannot achieve more without the community doing their share in maintaining the peace that Central Visayas is currently experiencing," said BGen Alba.
BGen Alba added the unwavering efforts to do more are the result of continuously inspiring everyone every day and Commanders leading by example.
