📢 CLASS SUSPENSION NOTICE

Considering the prevailing weather conditions affecting the Municipality of Duero due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by Typhoon Inday, and to safeguard the welfare of all learners, teachers, and school personnel, face-to-face classes at all levels in both Public and Private Schools are hereby suspended today, July 10, 2026 (Friday).

Schools are advised to implement the appropriate Alternative Learning Modalities (ALM) in accordance with DepEd guidelines.

The public is encouraged to stay vigilant, avoid unnecessary travel, and monitor official advisories from DOST-PAGASA, LGU Duero, and MDRRMO Duero.

📢 ADVISORY TO ALL QUALIFIED DUERO FISHERFOLK

Good News!

The Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Region VII, through the Presidential Assistance for Farmers and Fisherfolk Program (PAFFP), will conduct the Cash Assistance Distribution for qualified fisherfolk beneficiaries in the Municipality of Duero.

💰 Cash Assistance: ₱2,325.00 per qualified beneficiary
📅 Date: July 10, 2026 (Friday)
🕐 Time: 1:00 PM
📍 Venue: Duero Gym

Please bring the following requirements:
✅ At least one (1) valid government-issued ID with one (1) photocopy
✅ RSBSA Slip A Form (for beneficiaries with corrections in their personal information, duly signed by the Municipal Agriculture Officer)

The PAFFP provides unconditional financial assistance to qualified fisherfolk to help ease the impact of rising operational costs and support their livelihood.

We encourage all qualified beneficiaries to arrive on time and ensure that all required documents are complete for a smooth and orderly payout.

Sa tanang local farmers nga nakabaligya sa inyong bugas ngadto sa LGU pinaagi sa Procurement of Rice from Qualified Local Farmers under the SAGIP SAKA (NP-SS), pursuant to Republic Act No. 11321, ania ang among latest update.

The LGU has already completed all the necessary requirements on our end. Sa pagkakaron, ang gihuwat mao ang nahibiling requirements gikan sa LUMAD COOPERATIVE, diin adunay pipila ka dokumento nga kinahanglan pa nila malihok, ma-notarize ug ma pa-check sa bangko. Once checked, ipasa dayon kini sa CDA para matatakan nga Mao Ang gi need sa Bangako para ma deposit na Ang cheque nga ibayad sa mga 27 ka mag uuma nga nagbaligya sa ilang bugas.

Once ma completed na ang mga requirements nga gikinahanglan sa Bangko then we can release the fund this week, possible nga marelease ang inyong payment this Friday. Otherwise, gilauman kini early next week.

Gusto usab namo nga ipasabot nga the delay is not on the part of the LGU. Padayon kaming nag-follow up ug nag-coordinate aron mapadali ang pagkompleto sa nahibiling requirements sa Lumad Cooperative ug mapagawas dayon ang inyong bayad.

Day 1 Highlights | Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) Training

The Municipality of Duero successfully commenced Day 1 of the 4-Day Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) Training, a significant step toward strengthening our disaster preparedness and emergency response capabilities.

The training gathered members of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), the 21 Punong Barangays of Duero, the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) led by Mrs. Avelyn S. Dizon, and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) led by Mr. Michael Orland Abueva.

Participants actively engaged in discussions and learning sessions facilitated by our dedicated resource speakers—Lairisa Ballaso, Michelle C. Ylaya, Louie Xavier Calvo, and Arzon Greg Badayos—who shared valuable knowledge and practical strategies on camp coordination and management during emergencies.

As we continue this four-day learning journey, we reaffirm our commitment to building a safer, more resilient, and disaster-ready Duero through collaboration, preparedness, and effective leadership.
