Suspect Arrested for Violation of Fi****ms Law
Iloilo – On February 2, 2026, personnel from 6SAB of this Unit provided tactical support to Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Iloilo City Field Unit and other PNP units in a joint law enforcement operation thru buy-bust that resulted in the arrest of a.k.a. Jornie in Brgy. Poblacion Ilaya, Passsi City, Iloilo.
The operation was conducted against the suspect for violation of R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Laws on Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act). Seized during the operation were one KG-9 submachine gun with one suppressor and one magazine, one caliber .45 pistol with two magazines, buy-bust money, and other personal belongings.
CIDG Iloilo CFU took custody of the arrested person and seized items for documentation and proper disposition.
The success of the operation highlights the continued commitment of the PNP to the strict enforcement of laws against illegal fi****ms and its resolve to safeguard communities from armed threats.
