Mayor Benshar S. Estino Delivers SOMA
Panglima Estino, Sulu โ The Sangguniang Bayan of Panglima Estino held a Special Session on the First 100 Days of Governance, featuring the State of the Municipality Address (SOMA) of Mayor Benshar S. Estino at the Municipal Covered Court, Barangay Punay, Poblacion.
Mayor Estino emphasized education as a key priority of his administration, highlighting classroom rehabilitation, provision of chairs, and hiring of volunteer teachers to improve learning conditions. He also announced the strengthening of Islamic education through Madrasa classes every weekend, and the installation of street lights across barangays to promote safety and peace in the community.
The event was presided over by Vice Mayor MORSID M. ESTINO and attended by Board Member Sherhan Najar, representatives from the PNP, AFP, Philippine Statistics Authority, Bureau of Fire Protection, Ministry of Interior and Local Government, Ministry of Social Services and Development, Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education, Ministry of Public Works โ 2nd District Engineering Office, Rural Health Unit Panglima Estino, and officials from the 12 barangays of the Municipality.
