📢TMES ANNOUNCEMENT: ARAL SUMMER PROGRAM 2026 📚

In line with Republic Act No. 12028 (ARAL Program Act), Tador and Masaglang Elementary School is officially opening its doors for the ARAL Summer Reading and Math Program! Our goal is to ensure that every learner is grade-level ready and confident for the next school year. We are here to bridge the gaps and level up your child’s skills in Literacy and Numeracy!

This initiative strengthens our commitment to improve learning outcomes, provide academic support, and ensure that no learner is left behind. Together, we continue to build a culture of excellence, resilience, and lifelong learning.

Let us work hand in hand in making this summer productive and meaningful for education!

👥 Who can join?
Participants are identified learners based on the following results:
✔ EOSY RMA Results (for ARAL Math)
✔ EOSY Phil-IRI Results (for Key Stage 2)
✔ CRLA Results (for Key Stage 1)

🗓️ Schedule: May 6 – June 2, 2026
*️⃣Monday to Thursday - Onsite classes
🕐 2 hours per session (Reading and Math Intervention)
*️⃣Friday - Home Learning Session

Official: A DAVRAA Contender

In a champions-versus-champions 400-meter run, Our student-athlete from Tador and Masaglang Elementary School, Cleo T. Uso, emerged victorious, outpacing competitors from (5) five participating municipalities in the recently concluded Davao Occidental Provincial Atheletic Association Meet (DAV OCC PAA).

The event and victory secured him a slot in the upcoming Davao Region Athletic Association Meet (DAVRAA) fulfilling a dream he has trained for.

Our School Head, Almira Bantilan, expressed pride in the achievement, remarking that the win reflects the student-athlete's disciplined training and the school's continued commitment to sports excellence. In addition, she acknowledged the student-athlete's coach, Rose Mary Joy C. Carballo, and Asst. coach Thedore Bernales for their expert guidance and dedication, highlighting that their undying support was instrumental in the student-athlete's success.

The achievement represents another milestone for the institution as it gears up to compete on the regional stage at DAVRAA.

📖 To address the literacy issues affecting Filipino learners, our school must provide alternative reading interventions. Drop Everything and Read, is one of the programs that the faculty and Staff of Tador and Masaglang Elementary School have adapted. It supports our Project MAPA "Mahalin ang Pagbass " efforts.

📕 As per DepEd's Memorandum. No. 181, s. 2017, DEAR as a program is to help pupils develop lifelong habits, enhance their reading comprehension, develop a love of reading. It is a systematic project in which schools set out time for learners and teachers to halt their daily tasks and read. Considering this, our school allots a certain amount time, such as before the official time start of class in the morning., before lunch time, and after afternoon classes, and specifically encourages learners to be in their respective classrooms from 12:45-1:00 pm each day before lessons begin again in the afternoon.

✨ As we put it into practice, our DEAR activities during that period each day include the teacher-led reading, silent reading, paired reading, and interactions about the chosen text or story. Addressing learning gaps and improving learners' academic performance, especially in reading comprehension and related skills, is its primary goal. This structured approach not only fosters a love for reading but also builds a sense of community among learners. By engaging with diverse texts and collaborating with peers, learners are empowered to enhance their understanding and critical thinking skills.

✨ The programs for improving reading comprehension and related skills stands as a testament to the commitment of educators in enriching learners' academic performance. Under the guidance of dedicated leaders such as our District Reading Coordinator Ma'am Sayrine Baro , School Reading Coordinator Ma'am Chit Pingot - Gomez , and Teacher In-charge Ma'am Almira Bantilan , this initiative thrives on the collective efforts of passionate teachers who tirelessly work to foster a love for reading and learning among their learners. Through their unwavering dedication, they are not only shaping individial academic success but also nurturing a generation of critical thinkers equipped to navigate en ever- evolving world. The program exemplifies how collaboration and commitment can yield transformative results in education, ultimately paving the way for a brighter future for all learners involved.

PROJECT MAPA ( Mahalin ang Pagbasa)

Tador and Masaglang Elementary School successfully launched PROJECT MAPA initiative that combined the Brigada Eskwela and Brigada Pagbasa programs. This activities focused not only on preparing school for new academic year but also on nurturing a love for reading among learners.

Recognizing this PROJECT MAPA ( Mahalin ang Pagbasa) was a proactive and nurturing intervention aimed and strengthening the reading culture. "Mahalin ang Pagbasa " which means "Love Reading, this initiative seeks to provide learners with enriching reading experience through engaging activities, diverse and consistent support from teachers, parents and the community. By promoting the joy and value of reading, PROJECT MAPA encourage learners to view reading not just academic requirements but as a lifelong learning.

Through the active support of community stakeholders, especially the Barangay Officials, led by Hon. Chairil Uy, SK Chairman Nino Jones Domingo, and their Sk Kagawads. These dedicated leaders they personally participated in teaching reading sessions with the pupils, serving as inspiring role models for community involvement education.

With the guidance of our District Reading Coordinator, Ma'am Sayrine Baro ; our School Reading Coordinator, Ma'am Chit P. Gomez; and the full support of our Teacher In-charge ma'am Almira B. Bantilan and along with the dedication and commitment of all our hardworking teachers, the activity turned into a meaningful and successful learning experience for our pupils.
