Rope Rescue Enhancement and Simulation Drill

In line with the continuous commitment of our Local Government Unit to strengthen disaster preparedness and emergency response capabilities, the Don Carlos LDRRMO successfully conducted a 3-day Rope Rescue Enhancement and Simulation Drill under the leadership of our Hon. Mayor Ma. Victoria O. Pizarro and through the directives of Acting MGDH I/MDRRMO, Windel Q. Caulin.

The activity aimed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and operational readiness of MDRRMO responders and personnels in rope rescue operations and emergency response techniques.

Day 1 focused on lecture discussions and presentation of concepts through PowerPoint sessions covering rope rescue principles, safety procedures, and operational techniques. Day 2 and Day 3 highlighted practical demonstrations and hands-on simulation exercises to strengthen responders’ technical skills and teamwork in actual rescue scenarios.

Daily agility exercises and warm-up activities were also conducted to promote physical preparedness, discipline, and operational conditioning among participants.
