A total of fifty (50) beneficiaries, all members of the participating Irrigators Associations, attended the orientation and are set to benefit from the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program. Of the total beneficiaries, thirty (30) are members of the Saygano Irrigators Association located in Magsaysay, Sibutad, Zamboanga del Norte, while twenty (20) beneficiaries are from Payan Irrigators Association in Ilaya, Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte.
The initiative is in line with the convergence efforts of NIA aimed at strengthening partnerships with various government agencies to provide additional support and livelihood opportunities to farmer-beneficiaries.
