👁️SACDipolog News || The IPS-IPO Community Conference and Reflexive Session was successfully conducted together with the Environmental and Human Rights Defenders (EHRDs) in six Barangay IPMRs, traditional leaders and the two Indigenous peoples Organizations of Dilawa and Bagong Silang, Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte under the Paglingap Project (Paglingap sa mga Tanggol Karapatan at Kalikasan) of Social Action Center Diocese of Dipolog with the NGO partners from Balay Rehabilitation Center Inc. and Philippine Misereor Partnership Inc. supported by European Union (EU).

Rev. Fr. Vincent Ocellus A. Magale SAC Executive Director delivered his message of support to our IP participants by igniting them in having courage and remain calm in defending their rights and environment as Indigenous Peoples.

The led facilitator was Mr. Glen Larot Mindanao Project Coordinator from Balay Rehabilitation Center assisted by the Project Local Community Facilitator of SACDipolog Mr. Jose Roger Z. Daguinotas are held at Dilawa function hall, Barangay Dilawa, Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte.

This transformative approach to the empowerment of Environmental Human Rights Defenders level of support to the rights and protection by addressing their issues especially on Ancestral Domain Claims to Local Government Units and relevant government agencies as reflected in Semestral Huntahan, to allow communities to share their thoughts and concerns with the duty bearers on the issues on the ground.

Daguinotas held at G'MISBA Tribal Hall in Barangay Milad, Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte.

Focus in addressing the protection gap through localized strategies and transformative approaches to the empowerment of Environmental Human Rights Defenders level of support to the rights and protection by Local Government Units and relevant government agencies as reflected in Semestral Huntahan, to allow communities to share their thoughts and concerns with the duty bearers on the issues on the ground.

🌍 Earth Day 2026 | Our Power, Our Planet 🌱

The Earth Day celebration last April 22, 2026, at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Saint Vincent Ferrer in Olingan was successfully held. It began with an Opening Liturgy of the Nine Cries of Creation led by very supportive Parish Priest and Social Action Director Rev. Fr. Vincent Ocellus A. Magale, V.F. followed by an input on the Rights of Nature by Reynon E. Ajero as resource speaker in support to PMPI and Paglingap advocacy campaign emphasizing care for creation.

The event concluded with a pledge-signing by participants as a symbol of their commitment to protect our planet.

Usa ka panawagan sa atong Santo Papa ug sa CBCP nga nagpunting alang sa pangkalibutang Kalinaw sa gapadayong komplekto sa mga nasud nga mi-resulta sa gubat didto sa Middle East, Sudan ug Ukraine. Giawhag ang tanan sa paghimo sa maong prayer vigil.

CCRSA Farmer President of Saint Vincent Ferrer Organic Farmer on Sustainable Agriculture Brother Renante Quintero of Barangay Tanayan, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte was no longer with us, and he departed last March 30, 2026.

Rev. Fr. Vincent Ocellus A. Magale Executive Director of the Social Action Center of the Diocese of Dipolog presided over by a Wake Mass celebration offered for the lost Diocesan Farmer Practitioner this afternoon April 8, 2026 at Barangay Tanayan, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte.

📖🙏Burial Mass: April 9, 2026 @ 1:00 in the afternoon.

ℹ️ Brother Renante also known as LOKDO born on December 20, 1981 died at the age of 44. He served his knowledge and commitment to the association for almost 12 years. His association handled by Reynon E. Ajero DSAC staff.
