RECAP | AMUKI 2026: Organizations and Clubs Hunt

Last June 11, 2026, Miputak National High School successfully conducted the AMUKI 2026: Organizations and Clubs Hunt, an activity designed to introduce students to the various organizations, clubs, and student-led groups available on campus.

The program formally began with welcome remarks from Head Teacher III, Mrs. Sherel Rebutazo, who encouraged learners to take part in activities that will help them grow as leaders, innovators, and active members of the school community. The event was further enlivened by special musical performances from the MNHS Band and Sir Jade Baliola.

Following the opening program, the booth visitation officially commenced, allowing students to explore different organizations, learn about their advocacies and activities, and discover opportunities that match their interests and passions.

Through the Organizations and Clubs Hunt, students were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, build new friendships, develop their skills, and make the most of their school journey through meaningful involvement in campus life.

In line with Project Buliganay: Division-Wide Donation Drive for Earthquake-Affected Schools and Communities in SOCCSKSARGEN under Division Memorandum No. 480, s. 2026, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) continues its active participation in the school initiative Project Agapay through its own Project Abag, an ongoing effort to support learners and communities affected by recent earthquakes.

As part of the continuing efforts, SSLG officers conducted a room-to-room information drive and facilitated the collection of voluntary donations from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM today. As of 9:30 AM, the SSLG has gathered a total of โ‚ฑ2,002 in monetary donations. This forms part of the sustained implementation of the project within the school community.

Students and personnel are encouraged to continue extending support through rice and other non-perishable goods such as canned food, instant noodles, and other essential supplies until June 19, 2026, 12:00 PM at the SSLG Office.

This continuing initiative reflects the schoolโ€™s shared commitment to compassion, solidarity, and collective action in times of need.

When the ground shakes, it does not only damage buildings. It disrupts lives, education, and the sense of security that every child deserves.

Today, many learners and families in earthquake-affected communities are facing uncertainty as they strive to recover and rebuild. While we may not be able to undo the devastation they have experienced, we can remind them that they are not alone.

In response to Project Buliganay: Division-Wide Donation Drive for Earthquake-Affected Schools and Communities in SOCCSKSARGEN under Division Memorandum No. 480, s. 2026, Miputak National High School, through Project Kaagapay and the SSLG's Project Abag, humbly calls on every member of our school community to extend a helping hand.

We welcome donations of:
๐ŸŒพ Rice
๐Ÿฅซ Canned Goods
๐Ÿœ Instant Noodles
๐Ÿ“ฆ Other Non-Perishable Food Items

A single can of food. A kilogram of rice. A small act of generosity.

To some, these may seem ordinary. To a family struggling to recover, they can mean comfort, relief, and hope for another day.

๐Ÿ“ Donations may be dropped off at the SSLG Office until June 19, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

In moments like these, kindness becomes more than a gesture. It becomes a lifeline.

Let us show that even in difficult times, compassion can bring communities together.

Miputak National High School officially welcomed School Year 2026โ€“2027 through MIPUTAgpuanay 2026, highlighted by the delivery of the State of the Learner Government Address (SOLGA) by SSLG President Rosephel Glee D. Saladaga.

In her address, President Saladaga emphasized the importance of unity, service, accountability, and student participation as the school community embarks on a new academic year. She reaffirmed the SSLGโ€™s commitment to listening to learnersโ€™ voices and implementing meaningful, student-centered initiatives despite the challenges brought by the new DepEd three-term calendar.

Among the flagship programs presented for School Year 2026โ€“2027 were the AMUKI Clubs and Organizations Hunt, LEAD COMM: Leadership Training on Communication and Organizational Skills, Jingle Jam 2026, KABANTUG Festival, and Visionaries Hub: ThinkTank Fridays, a year-round academic support program designed to strengthen learnersโ€™ literacy and numeracy skills.

The SSLG also announced the continuation of key initiatives such as the Violation Management System (VMS), Basura Patrol, Linis Bida Program, and the SSLG Unified Assistance Program (SUAP) to promote discipline, environmental responsibility, volunteerism, and collaboration among student organizations.

New programs, including StudePreneurs and EduPrint Hub, were likewise introduced to support student entrepreneurship and provide affordable printing services for learners while helping fund future SSLG projects and activities.

President Saladaga concluded her address by encouraging every MIPIAN to actively participate, share ideas, and contribute to building a stronger and more united school community. She reminded learners to โ€œdream boldly, learn passionately, serve selflessly, and lead fearlesslyโ€ as they begin another meaningful chapter of their educational journey.

Last June 8, 2026, Miputak National High School officially welcomed learners for School Year 2026โ€“2027 through MIPUTAgpuanay: Where the Journey Begins, a learner-centered opening program designed to orient, inspire, and engage students as they embark on a new academic journey.

The program commenced with the Welcome Remarks of School Principal II, Mr. Noel G. Solis, followed by the introduction of the faculty and staff. Learners were then acquainted with the schoolโ€™s classrooms and facilities to help them become familiar with their new learning environment.

The SSLG State of the Learner Government Address was delivered by SSLG President Ms. Rosephel Glee D. Saladaga, outlining the organizationโ€™s goals and initiatives for the school year. This was followed by the Campus Treasure Hunt, which encouraged students to explore the campus while building camaraderie with their fellow learners.

Students also participated in an Anti-Bullying, Mental Health Awareness, and Child Protection Policies session facilitated by Guidance Designate Mrs. Irish A. Kilat and gained valuable insights during the WINS Talk led by Mrs. Daylinda A. Ocampo.

The event continued with trivia games and the awarding of the Early Bird Challenge winners, recognizing the first 30 learners who arrived at school. Four learners were likewise honored as Best in Uniform for exemplifying neatness, discipline, and school pride. Awards were also presented to outstanding sections, with special recognition given to the Most Participative, Most Cheerful, and Most Disciplined sections for their active involvement, positive energy, and exemplary conduct throughout the program.

Special recognition was also given to Maโ€™am Jana Shierafel Enoy and Maโ€™am Floramy Nataa for receiving the Outstanding Advisory Steward Award. Meanwhile, John Niรฑo Ulla was recognized for bringing honor to the school through his achievement at the Palarong Pambansa 2026.

The celebration concluded with a mass dance led by the Performing Arts Club and the School Year Chant, leaving learners energized and ready to embrace another year of learning, leadership, and growth.

As the journey begins, may every MIPian continue to strive for excellence, create meaningful memories, and make this school year one for the books.

Welcome to School Year 2026โ€“2027, MIPians! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›
