The Technological University of the Philippines Reserve Officers Training Corps Unit (TUP ROTCU) conducted the Regional Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026 on 10 1300H May 2026 at TUP Parade Ground, Ayala Boulevard, Ermita, Manila.
The program began with the Opening Ceremony, highlighted by the singing of the National Anthem and an invocation that set a solemn and patriotic atmosphere for the activity. An opening message was delivered by Prof. Michael Angelo Cipat, who emphasized the values of honor, patriotism, duty, and service as guiding principles of every cadet and future leader. This was followed by inspirational messages from LT COL OMAR H HASSAN (ART) PA and COL GERALD L MONFORT MNSA (INF) PA, who encouraged the participants to demonstrate excellence, discipline, and teamwork throughout the inspection. The reading of the parameters and guidelines was then conducted by MAJ ALEXANDER M LAMBIQUIT (CE) PA to formally orient all participating units regarding the inspection procedures and evaluation standards.
Following the opening ceremony, the inspection commenced in various designated venues. At the Covered Court, the cadets showcased their precision, coordination, and discipline during the Company Drill. Simultaneously, tactical and military competencies were assessed in different classrooms. In CLA 211A, participants underwent the Map Reading evaluation, testing their knowledge and navigational skills. At CLA 213, the cadets demonstrated proper assembly and disassembly of the M16 rifle and Caliber .45 pistol under the supervision of Inspector SGT GALLARDO. Meanwhile, CLA 215 served as the venue for the Evaluation process, while CIE 302 and 311 were designated for the Comprehensive Examination, measuring the participantsβ theoretical understanding and overall preparedness.
The event concluded with the Closing Ceremony led by the Corps of Lady Sponsors. During the ceremony, the announcement of scores recognized the performance and efforts of the participating units and cadets. The program ended with the heartfelt singing of βPilipinas Kong Mahal,β leaving the participants inspired and reminded of their dedication and responsibility in serving the nation with honor and integrity.
All these were possible with the able guidance of the commandant, LTC OMAR H HASSAN (ART) PA, and the training officers and cadet officers of the TUP ROTC Unit. With their professionalism and dedication, they were able to make it a successful and memorable event.
