The 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐋𝐘𝐃𝐎) – 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐨𝐬 joined the 𝟐-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐇𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐬) held on 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟕–𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 in Digos City, Davao del Sur.

The activity was headed by 𝐂𝐇𝐑 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐗𝐈 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝑨𝒕𝒕𝒚. 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝑭. 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒐, with participants from the four LGUs: Digos City, Bansalan, Sulop, Hagonoy

The gathering was also attended by 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝑨𝒕𝒕𝒚. 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒊 𝑮. 𝐁𝐚ñ𝐚 and 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐲,, along with 𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐆 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥, 𝐏𝐍𝐏 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬, 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲/𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬, and other local government representatives from the participating municipalities.

The activity focused on strengthening cooperation among LGUs and promoting the protection and respect of human rights in our communities.

In line with the celebration of the 26th Araw ng Digos City, all participating organizations and riders are hereby informed of the following assembly and letter blocking assignments:

All participants are requested to proceed to their designated letter blocking area and arrive on time to ensure an orderly and smooth motorcade.

The Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), led by 𝑹𝒂𝒇𝒂𝒆𝒍 𝑰𝑰𝑰 𝑹. 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒐𝒅𝒊𝒂, LPT, MTE, actively participated in the Weekly Tree Planting Activity held on 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠, 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐆𝐨𝐦𝐚, 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐨𝐬 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐫.

This meaningful initiative was led by City Mayor 𝑯𝒐𝒏. 𝑱𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒇 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝑪𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒔, together with City Councilor 𝑯𝒐𝒏. 𝑳𝒊𝒛𝒂 𝑴. 𝑪𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒔, City Administrator 𝑹𝒆𝒙 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝑪𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒔, and City Greening Head 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒚 𝑴𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒛.

The activity was also joined by 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐧. “𝐊𝐮𝐲𝐚” 𝐉𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐫, 𝐈𝐏𝐌𝐑 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐨 𝐉𝐫., and the 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐆𝐨𝐦𝐚.

The activity brought together government offices, partner agencies, barangay officials, and community members in a shared effort to promote environmental responsibility and strengthen community involvement.

A total of 𝟐𝟔𝟏 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 joined the activity, successfully planting 𝟒𝟎𝟎 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.

Their continued leadership and support highlight the importance of collective action in protecting our natural resources and building greener, stronger, and more environmentally prepared communities.
