Strengthening partnership for safer communities! 🇵🇭

The Office of the City Prosecutor of Digos, represented by DCP Noe P. Lindong OIC City Prosecutor, joined the Monday Flag Raising and Culmination Ceremony of the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week held today, September 7, 2026, at the PRO 11 Parade Ground, Camp Sgt. Quintin M. Merecdo, Buhangin, Davao City.

With this year’s theme, "Strengthening Civilian Oversight and Collective Action for Safer Communities," the event highlighted the importance of inter-agency cooperation, public involvement, and strong legal support in maintaining peace, order, and justice across the region.

The gathering featured Maria Ines C. Asuncion, CESO III, Regional Director of DepEd XI, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

The Office of the City Prosecutor of Digos City was honored to once again represent DOJ–NPS Region XI as Resource Speaker in a legal awareness seminar attended by participants from various municipalities of Davao del Sur.

The lecture centered on Republic Act No. 11479, otherwise known as the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020, highlighting its key provisions, the protection of fundamental rights and civil liberties, the promotion of peace and security, and the vital role of an informed citizenry in safeguarding the rule of law.

Through initiatives such as this, the Department of Justice remains steadfast in its commitment to bringing legal education closer to the people, strengthening public awareness, and fostering a culture of justice, accountability, and respect for the law.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (Davao Region) for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute to this meaningful undertaking in the service of the people of Davao del Sur.

The Office of the City Prosecutor- Digos City headed by OIC-City Prosecutor DCP Noe Lindong extends its sincere appreciation to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) especially to the District Jail Warden of BJMP-DIGOS, JCI JUL AKBAR L. JAMIRI, MGM, for the invitation and opportunity to participate in the Volleyball for a Cause.

We commend BJMP for successfully organizing an activity that promoted camaraderie, teamwork, physical wellness, and stronger inter-agency collaboration among public servants. Such initiatives reinforce the value of partnership beyond our respective mandates and foster meaningful professional relationships through sports.
