The 1101st Community Defense Center on it's Mountain Search and Rescue Training (MOSART) 2025”

To Sustain Quality Education and Training to the Reservists in the AOR of 1101st Community Defense Center, 11RCDG, RESCOM, PA provided the Reservists with quality training that will enhance their skills and Preparedness in times of Rescue Operations during Calamities with the help of various stakeholders.

Personnel from Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office Davao del Sur headed by Mr Quinn Arthur Bidan, Operation and Training officer conducted lecture/practical exercises on Advance Rappelling (Introduction of Equipment, Introduction of high Angle, Safety measures of high Angle, Sit hip Rappel Technique, Anchoring Technique, Hauling with Victim, Lowering with victim and Ascending Technique) to the one (1) Reservist Officer and thirty five (35) Enlisted Reservist led by 1LT BERNARD S DASMARIÑAS PA (RES) from Charlie Company, 1101st RRIBn participants of Mountain Search and Rescue Training (MOSART) held at NIA Dam, Brgy, Managa, Bansalan, Davao del Sur 01 August 2025.

COL CRISANTO C CALIT OS (GSC) PA, Director 1101CDC, 11RCDG RESCOM, PA extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management (PDRRMO) of Davao del Sur in their Support and Effort extended to the 1101st Community Defense Center during the continues conduct of lecture and demonstration on MOSART Training.

Planting Activity, a dedicated team of ROTC cadets, including Aspiring ROTC Cadets, PROF JAMES R LINAO and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources.
The meticulous preparation will contribute to the overall success of "Kayang Unaksyon ng Mamamayan na lsabuhay ang Kahandaan ng bawat Isa para maging Ligtas sa Oras ng Sakuna Para sa Kahandaan, Kaligtasan at Katatagan," a commendable initiative aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and greening the community.

"1101CDC Participated in 2nd CDRRMO Volunteers Summit 2025"

IN PHOTOS// The 1101CDC, 11RCDG, RESCOM, PA and 1101st Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion actively participated in the 2nd CDRRMC Volunteers Summit in celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month 2025 with the Theme: ”KUMIKILOS: Kayang Umaksyon ng Mamayan na Isabuhay ang Kahandaan ng bawat Isa para maging Ligtas sa Oras ng Sakuna” PARA SA KAHANDAAN, KALIGTASAN AT KATATAGAN held at Digos City Gymnasium on 30 July 2025.

The said activity was spearheaded by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council Digos City. Attended by the KABALIKAT, Davao del Sur Emergency Rescue Volunteer (DSERV), Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Recon Dream, UMDC, Disaster and Emergency Response Team, Philippine Red Cross, Girl Scouts of the Philippines, ALERT, Digos Filipino-Chines Fire Volunteer cooperative and Recon Dixie Star.

The event showcased that the City of Digos disaster response capabilities through demonstration and simulations. The 1101CDC along with other participating agencies highlighted their commitment to aim to cultivate the spirit of volunteerism among the volunteer responders of the City and improve community preparedness and response by enhancing coordination, communication and training among the volunteer groups.

The 1101CDC remains steadfast in its mandate to support civilian authorities and contribute the building a disaster resilient community in Digos City.
