In observance of National School Safety Week 2026, Bannawag Integrated School successfully conducted its Kick-Off Program on October 12, 2026, during the flag-raising ceremony. The activity brought together partner agencies, school stakeholders, teachers, and learners in a collective commitment to promoting a safe, peaceful, and child-friendly learning environment.
Representatives from partner agencies ( PNP, DILG, BFP, IBP, SGC, PTA, Barangay Council, BHW) and community stakeholders graced the program, sharing valuable safety talks and messages of support. Their presence reaffirmed the importance of strong collaboration among the school, government agencies, parents, and the community in protecting learners and school personnel from bullying, violence, and all forms of threats.
The activity highlighted the Simultaneous Panata ng Buong Komunidad para sa Ligtas na Paaralan and the Signing of the Wall of Commitment. Moreover, learners, led by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG), and Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), took their oath of commitment to uphold school safety, prevent bullying, promote respect and discipline, and help maintain a peaceful and secure learning environment.
Since the activity was aligned with the Project SAFE initiated by Atty. Wenila L. Mirera, and as a Child Protection Coordinator, she facilitated it with the strong support of Ms. Noveline C. Tacata, School Principal IV, together with the dedicated teachers and employees of Bannawag Integrated School. Their collective efforts underscore the school's continuing commitment to safeguarding every learner and fostering a culture of care, respect, and responsibility.
As such, the school extends its heartfelt gratitude to the following partner agencies and stakeholders for their valuable presence and support:
🔹 Ms. Karen Joy Pablico-Castro, CESO V – DILG Quirino Provincial Director
Pmaj. Richard Andres, Assistant 1st Commander, 1st QPMFC
