Growing a Greener Tomorrow Through Unity and Action. 🌱

In celebration of Philippine Arbor Day, the Municipal Government of Delfin Albano, in partnership with DENR-CENRO Cabagan and the PNP Delfin Albano, successfully conducted a Tree Planting and Tree Growing Activity on June 25, 2026 at the Municipality's CY 2020 National Greening Program (NGP) plantation site located in Brgy. Carmencita, Delfin Albano, Isabela.

This collaborative initiative demonstrates our shared commitment to forest restoration, biodiversity conservation, and the protection of our natural resources. Through this collective effort, we continue to promote a Luntiang Bukas and a healthier, more sustainable environment for present and future generations.

Together, we plant today for a greener tomorrow. 🌳💚

The Simultaneous Clean-Up Activity conducted on June 5, 2026, in celebration of World Environment Day and Philippine Environment Month was successfully carried out through the leadership of 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐀. 𝐏𝐮𝐚, 𝐉𝐫., Municipal Mayor, and the support of 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐆. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐛𝐨𝐠 Liga ng mga Barangay Federation President.

The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) extend its sincere gratitude to all Punong Barangays, barangay officials, community volunteers, and participating stakeholders for their active involvement and valuable contribution to the success of this activity.

This collective effort to celebrate our environment helps in fostering communities that care for our environment and takes action.

In celebration of National Biodiversity Day, the Municipality of Delfin Albano, through the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) under the leadership of Hon. Thomas A. Pua Jr., reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the protection, conservation, and sustainable management of the municipality’s biodiversity and natural resources. To support this commitment, the Municipality continues to carry out the following environmental activities:

1. Regular patrolling and monitoring of the proposed critical habitat of the bird breeding ground, and wildlife sanctuary in Barangay Carmencita, including the establishment of fire lines along buffer zones to help prevent forest fires and strengthen wildlife and habitat protection

2. Maintenance and protection of established tree and bamboo plantations to help restore and promote a healthier environment

3. Strengthening environmental awareness through Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) activities, such as:

•Distribution of informational leaflets to communities
•Sharing environmental updates and awareness campaigns through the official page
•Serving as resource speakers Barangay meeting and community activities.

Together, let us continue protecting our environment and preserving wildlife for future generations.

𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐛𝐨𝐠, we extend our gratitude to the participating Barangay Officials—headed by their respective Barangay Captains—and all the volunteers. We truly appreciate all your efforts in our clean-up drive activities!

Under the proactive leadership of 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐀. 𝐏𝐮𝐚 𝐉𝐫., LGU Delfin Albano continues to prioritize environmental sustainability even in the face of challenging weather conditions.

During the recent Civil Service Commission (CSC) Month last September 2025, the entire LGU personnel, headed by our Mayor, came together for a massive tree-planting activity. But our commitment didn't stop at planting.

To combat the harsh effects of the dry spell and ensure the survival of the planted fruit bearing trees and forest trees, 𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐑𝐎 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐨 launched a strategic mitigation initiative within the forest land of the municipality specifically in Barangay Carmencita.

Organized teams are deployed to the planting sites to provide vital water for the planted trees at least once a week.

Additionally, our dedicated Bantay Kalikasan continuously monitors the health and survival rate of our newly planted fruit-bearing and forest trees.

Through the united efforts of our LGU leadership, our hardworking civil servants, and the Bantay Kalikasan, we are ensuring that the trees we plant today will stand tall for the next generation of Delfin Albanians. 👏🌿
