Tacunan National High School successfully conducted the second day of the ARAL Summer and Remediation Program on May 7, 2026, as learners continued to participate in meaningful and engaging learning activities under the guidance of teacher-volunteers.
For the ARAL Math sessions for Senior High School learners, the lessons focused on math language, visualizing word problems, and place value. Teacher-volunteers guided the learners in understanding mathematical terms and strategies that can help improve problem-solving skills and comprehension in Mathematics.
Meanwhile, learners under ARAL Reading participated in different activities based on their reading levels. Readers answered the ARAL booklet activities to strengthen their comprehension and reading skills, while non-readers were guided through phonics and read-aloud sessions to improve pronunciation, sound recognition, and reading fluency.
The teacher-volunteers continued to serve as tutors and facilitators, while others prepared instructional materials and documented the activities to ensure smooth implementation of the program.
Learners expressed positive feedback regarding their experiences during the second day of the program. Some of the students shared: โNakatuon mi sa ARAL Reading,โ โHappy ko today kay makakat-on na sa ARAL labaw na sa pagbasa,โ โNa-refresh ang previous topic during elementary and JHS,โ and โMakatuon sa Math.โ
These responses reflected the learnersโ appreciation toward the activities and lessons provided during the program.
Snacks for the learners were sponsored and donated by Mr. Arnold P. Aperocho, whose generosity brought joy and support to the participating learners throughout the activity.
The successful conduct of Day 2 shows the commitment of Tacunan National High School in supporting learners through intervention programs that promote continuous learning, skill development, and academic improvement.
