‎On September 6, 2026, PCOL PETER BAUZON MADRIA, City Director of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), conducted an on-the-spot inspection during the area security coverage for the Bar Exam 2026 with PLTCOL MARK F BALBUENA, Chief Operations, and PMAJ SHERYL Y BAUTISTA, Station Commander Police Station 3 Talomo, at Ateneo de Davao Senior High School, Bangkal, Davao City. This initiative underscores the DCPO’s commitment in ensuring the safety and security of examinees and facilitators, reflecting the leadership’s proactive presence in safeguarding the community.

‎City Director’s Cup 2026 Opens with Unity and Responsible Marksmanship

‎On September 5, 2026, PCOL PETER BAUZON MADRIA, City Director of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), spearheaded the opening of the City Director’s Cup 2026 at Ballistics Shooting Range, Maa, Davao City. The competition, a PPSA Level 1 Sanctioned Match, featured 8 stages for Handgun, PCC, and Mini-Rifle categories, and participated by various key officials, stakeholders, and sponsors.

‎Their presence highlighted the spirit of mutual cooperation and partnership between the DCPO and its community allies. DCPO Empowers Stakeholders Through First Aid and Rescue Training

Davao City – On September 3, 2026, to further strengthen essential life-saving skills, the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), under the leadership of PCOL PETER B MADRIA, City Director, together with PMAJ JAKE C GOLES, Chief of the City Community Affairs and Development Unit (CCADU), in collaboration with PRO 11 Community S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strengthened and Harmonized Inter-Agency Engagements and Linkages for Community Towards Disaster Resilience), spearheaded the successful conduct of the One-Day Volunteer Training on First Aid and Basic Rescue. The activity was held at Kabalikat Hall, Camp Captain Domingo E. Leonor, San Pedro Street, Davao City.

The training equipped participants with practical skills in administering first aid and performing basic rescue operations, reinforcing disaster preparedness and community resilience. It was attended by BPATs, barangay tanods, and force multipliers from the 19 police stations of DCPO, reflecting the unified efforts of stakeholders in strengthening public safety and readiness. Following the training, participants shared camaraderie and fellowship through a boodle fight.

PCOL MADRIA emphasized: “Preparedness saves lives. Through this training, we empower our personnel, volunteers, and partner stakeholders to act swiftly and effectively in times of emergencies. The DCPO remains committed to building resilient communities by fostering collaboration, enhancing skills, and instilling a culture of readiness.

Empowering Force Multipliers: DCPO, LTO, HPG Leads Crime Prevention Lecture

Davao City – On September 3, 2026, in collaboration with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) XI and Highway Patrol Group (HPG) XI, and in line to the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week with the theme "Strengthening Civilian Oversight and Collective Action for Civilian for Safer Communities", the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) under the leadership of PCOL PETER B MADRIA, City Director, together with PMAJ JAKE C GOLES, Acting Chief of the City Community Affairs and Development Unit (CCADU), spearheaded a lecture on the use of bogus or fictitious plate numbers in the commission of crimes at Sandigan Hall, Camp Captain Domingo E. Leonor, San Pedro Street, Davao City.

The initiative highlighted the unified efforts of DCPO and partner law enforcement agencies to equip force multipliers and DCPO personnel with the necessary skills to identify fake plate numbers. This training reinforces traffic law implementation, enhances investigative capability, and strengthens community-based crime prevention.

PCOL MADRIA emphasized: “Crime prevention is a shared responsibility. Through this lecture, we empower our personnel, force multipliers, and partner stakeholders to be more vigilant in identifying criminal schemes such as the use of fictitious plate numbers. The DCPO remains committed to proactive policing and collaboration, in line with the Philippine National Police Mantra: ‘Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas, Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.’”
