Davao City, 13 Juni 2026 – Konsul Jenderal RI Davao City memberikan wawancara kepada Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Pro 3 mengenai perkembangan terkini gempa bumi berkekuatan Magnitudo 7,8 yang mengguncang Filipina Selatan pada 8 Juni 2026. Dalam wawancara tersebut, Konsul Jenderal menyampaikan bahwa aktivitas gempa susulan masih berlangsung meskipun menunjukkan tren penurunan. Gempa telah menimbulkan kerusakan pada sejumlah fasilitas publik, jaringan listrik dan komunikasi, serta akses jalan di beberapa wilayah terdampak, khususnya di Provinsi Sarangani, General Santos City, dan wilayah sekitarnya. Pemerintah Filipina bersama pemerintah daerah terus melakukan pemulihan infrastruktur, pembukaan akses transportasi, serta penyaluran bantuan kemanusiaan kepada masyarakat terdampak.

Terkait kondisi Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI), Konsul Jenderal menjelaskan bahwa KJRI Davao City sejak hari pertama telah melakukan koordinasi intensif dengan otoritas Filipina, tokoh masyarakat Indonesia, serta jaringan penghubung masyarakat Indonesia di wilayah akreditasi. Hingga saat ini tidak terdapat laporan WNI yang menjadi korban jiwa maupun korban luka akibat gempa. Namun demikian, berdasarkan pendataan sementara, sedikitnya 103 rumah milik WNI dilaporkan mengalami kerusakan di berbagai wilayah terdampak, termasuk General Santos City, Glan, Laensasi, Tikang, Pagang, Pulau Sarangani, dan Pulau Balut. Selain itu, sejumlah rumah ibadah yang menjadi pusat aktivitas komunitas WNI juga mengalami kerusakan akibat guncangan gempa.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Konsul Jenderal menegaskan bahwa KJRI Davao City terus melakukan asesmen lapangan dan pemantauan situasi untuk memastikan keselamatan seluruh WNI di Filipina Selatan. KJRI Davao City juga mengoperasikan layanan Hotline Pelindungan WNI selama 24 jam dan membuka berbagai kanal komunikasi bagi masyarakat yang membutuhkan bantuan maupun ingin melaporkan kondisi WNI terdampak. KJRI Davao City mengimbau seluruh WNI agar tetap tenang namun waspada, mengikuti arahan otoritas setempat, serta segera menghubungi KJRI Davao apabila memerlukan bantuan atau mengetahui adanya WNI yang terdampak akibat gempa bumi tersebut.

Davao City, 13 June 2026 – The Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City gave an interview to Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Pro 3 regarding the latest developments following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Southern Philippines on 8 June 2026. During the interview, the Consul General stated that aftershock activity is still ongoing, although it has shown a declining trend. The earthquake caused damage to a number of public facilities, power and communication networks, as well as road access in several affected areas, particularly in Sarangani Province, General Santos City, and nearby localities. The Philippine Government, together with local government units, continues to undertake infrastructure rehabilitation, restore transportation access, and deliver humanitarian assistance to affected communities.

Regarding the condition of Indonesian nationals, the Consul General explained that CGRI Davao City has been conducting intensive coordination since the first day of the disaster with Philippine authorities, Indonesian community leaders, and community liaison networks throughout its accreditation area. To date, there have been no reports of Indonesian nationals being killed or injured as a result of the earthquake. However, based on preliminary assessments, at least 103 houses owned by Indonesian nationals have sustained damage in various affected areas, including General Santos City, Glan, Laensasi, Tikang, Pagang, Sarangani Island, and Balut Island. In addition, several places of worship serving as centers of community activities for Indonesian nationals have also suffered damage due to the earthquake.

On the occasion, the Consul General emphasized that CGRI Davao City continues to conduct field assessments and monitor developments closely to ensure the safety and well-being of all Indonesian nationals in Southern Philippines. CGRI Davao City also operates a 24-hour Hotline for the Protection of Indonesian Nationals and maintains multiple communication channels for individuals seeking assistance or wishing to report the condition of affected Indonesian nationals. CGRI Davao City urges all Indonesian nationals to remain calm yet vigilant, follow the instructions of local authorities, and immediately contact CGRI Davao City should they require assistance or become aware of any Indonesian nationals affected by the earthquake.

Konsul Jenderal RI Davao City yang diwakili oleh PF Pensosbud, Staf Teknis Polri, dan Pa ILO TNI Davao menghadiri upacara peringatan Hari Kemerdekaan ke-128 Republik Filipina yang diselenggarakan di Rizal Park, Davao City, pada 12 Juni 2026.

Acara tersebut turut dihadiri oleh Wakil Presiden Republik Filipina, Sara Duterte, yang hadir sebagai Tamu Kehormatan, perwakilan korps diplomatik, pejabat pemerintah nasional dan daerah, aparat keamanan, serta masyarakat setempat. Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Wakil Presiden Filipina menekankan pentingnya persatuan, semangat kebangsaan, dan kerja sama seluruh elemen masyarakat dalam mendukung pembangunan dan kemajuan bangsa Filipina.

Melalui partisipasi dalam kegiatan tersebut, KJRI Davao City berharap hubungan bilateral Indonesia–Filipina, khususnya di kawasan Filipina Selatan, dapat terus berkembang dan memberikan manfaat bagi kedua negara serta masyarakat di kedua belah pihak.

Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City represented by Consul for Information, Social and Cultural Affairs, Consul for Police Affairs, and the Commander of Indonesian Navy Liaison Officer in Davao, attended the ceremony commemorating the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence held at Rizal Park, Davao City, on 12 June 2026.

The event was also attended by the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines, Sara Duterte, who served as the Guest of Honor, along with members of the diplomatic corps, national and local government officials, security personnel, and members of the local community. On the occasion, the Vice President emphasized the importance of unity, patriotism, and cooperation among all sectors of society in supporting the development and progress of the Philippines.

Through its participation in the event, KJRI Davao City expressed its hope that Indonesia–Philippines bilateral relations, particularly in Southern Philippines, will continue to grow and bring mutual benefits to both countries and their peoples.

KJRI Davao City menyelenggarakan kegiatan Pembinaan Masyarakat melalui Simulasi Tanggap Darurat di Kanopi Sekolah Indonesia Davao (SID) pada Kamis, 11 Juni 2026. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh seluruh Home Staff dan Local Staff KJRI Davao City, para guru, serta siswa-siswi Sekolah Indonesia Davao sebagai bagian dari upaya peningkatan kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi situasi darurat dan bencana.

Dalam sambutannya, Konsul Jenderal RI Davao City menegaskan pentingnya membangun budaya kesiapsiagaan di lingkungan masyarakat Indonesia di Filipina Selatan. Konjen menyampaikan bahwa Filipina merupakan negara yang berada di kawasan rawan bencana alam, termasuk gempa bumi, sehingga setiap individu perlu memiliki pengetahuan dan kemampuan dasar dalam menghadapi keadaan darurat. Konjen juga mengingatkan kembali peristiwa gempa bumi berkekuatan 7,8 yang pernah mengguncang wilayah Mindanao dan dirasakan hingga Davao City sebagai pengingat bahwa bencana dapat terjadi sewaktu-waktu tanpa dapat diprediksi. Oleh karena itu, kesiapsiagaan, pemahaman terhadap prosedur evakuasi, serta kemampuan untuk tetap tenang dan bertindak cepat menjadi aspek penting dalam menjaga keselamatan diri dan orang lain.

Kegiatan pembinaan menghadirkan narasumber kolaborasi dari KJRI Davao City dan SID yaitu Staf Teknis Polri, Pa ILO TNI Davao, serta Wakil Kepala Sekolah Indonesia Davao bidang Kurikulum. Para narasumber memberikan materi mengenai mitigasi bencana, langkah-langkah tanggap darurat, prosedur evakuasi yang aman, serta pentingnya koordinasi dan komunikasi dalam situasi krisis. Setelah sesi pemaparan, peserta mengikuti simulasi tanggap darurat yang dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman praktis dalam merespons keadaan darurat secara cepat, tertib, dan terkoordinasi.

Melalui kegiatan ini, KJRI Davao City berharap seluruh peserta dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan kesiapsiagaan menghadapi berbagai potensi bencana maupun keadaan darurat lainnya. Selain memperkuat pemahaman mengenai aspek keselamatan, kegiatan ini juga menjadi sarana untuk membangun solidaritas, kedisiplinan, dan kerja sama yang erat di lingkungan KJRI Davao City dan Sekolah Indonesia Davao demi terciptanya komunitas Indonesia yang tangguh dan siap menghadapi berbagai tantangan di masa mendatang.

The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) in Davao City conducted a Community Outreach Program through an Emergency Response Simulation at the Canopy Area of the Indonesian School of Davao (SID) on Thursday, 11 June 2026. The activity was attended by all Home Staff and Local Staff of KJRI Davao City, teachers, and students of the Indonesian School of Davao as part of efforts to enhance preparedness in responding to emergencies and disasters.

In his remarks, the Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of preparedness within the Indonesian community in Southern Philippines. The Consul General noted that the Philippines is located in a disaster-prone region, particularly vulnerable to earthquakes and other natural hazards, making it essential for every individual to possess basic knowledge and skills in emergency response. He also recalled the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Mindanao and was felt in Davao City, underscoring that disasters can occur at any time without warning. Therefore, preparedness, understanding evacuation procedures, and the ability to remain calm and respond swiftly are crucial elements in ensuring the safety of oneself and others.

The program featured collaborative resource speakers from KJRI Davao City and the Indonesian School of Davao, namely the Police Attaché/Technical Police Staff, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Liaison Officer in Davao, and the Vice Principal for Curriculum of the Indonesian School of Davao. The speakers delivered presentations on disaster risk reduction, emergency response measures, safe evacuation procedures, and the importance of coordination and communication during crisis situations. Following the presentations, participants took part in an emergency response simulation designed to provide practical experience in responding to emergencies in a prompt, orderly, and coordinated manner.

Through this activity, KJRI Davao City hopes to further enhance participants’ awareness and preparedness in facing potential disasters and other emergency situations. In addition to strengthening understanding of safety measures, the program also served as a platform to foster solidarity, discipline, and close cooperation among members of the KJRI Davao City and Indonesian School of Davao communities, contributing to the development of a resilient Indonesian community that is well-prepared to face future challenges.

Mindanao Selatan, Konsul Jenderal Republik Indonesia Davao City datang bersama Staf Teknis Imigrasi dan beberapa staf menyapa langsung Warga Negara Indonesia di daerah Isulan, Tupi, General Santos City, Laensasi, Pagang dan bahkan ke Pulau Sarangani dan Pulau Balut yang berbatasan langsung dengan Pulau Marore Indonesia. Kunjungan Konsul Jenderal RI Davao City Bapak Agus Trenggono untuk melihat langsung kondisi dari para Warga Negara Indonesia di rumahnya masing-masing.

Pada kesempatan kunjungan ini, Konsul Jenderal memberikan Paspor RI kepada Warga Negara Indonesia yang telah mendapatkan visa 47 (a)(2) sebagai izin tinggal selama berada dan tinggal di Mindanao Selatan atau Negara Filipina. Visa 47 (a)(2) yang telah diperoleh atas tanggung jawab dan bentuk perlindungan yang dilakukan KJRI Davao City kepada WNI di Mindanao Selatan. Proses pengajuan Visa 47 (a)(2) diurus oleh KJRI Davao City atas kerjasama dan hubungan baik dengan pemerintah Filipina sehingga mendapatkan kemudahan. Dari seharusnya Visa 47 (a)(2) harus diurus oleh WNI itu sendiri dan ini dapat dilaksanakan oleh KJRI Davao City atas pertimbangan kemampuan ekonomi dari WNI.

Warga Negara Indonesia yang dikunjungi oleh Konsul Jenderal RI ada 10 orang yang tinggal di beberapa wilayah seperti Isulan, Tupi, General Santos City, Laensasi, Pagang dan bahkan p**au Balut dan Sarangani. Kesepuluh WNI tersebut merasa bangga dan berterima kasih atas kunjungan Konsul Jenderal RI ke rumah mereka, berkomunikasi dan melihat langsung kondisi dari WNI tersebut. “tanpa bantuan dan peran serta dari KJRI Davao City, tidak mungkin mendapatkan Visa 47 (a)(2)”, ini adalah pendapat dari WNI yang dikunjungi sekaligus menerima Paspor RI dan Visa 47 (a)(2). Southern Mindanao – The Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City, accompanied by the Consul for Immigration Affairs and several other staff members, personally visited Indonesian citizens residing in Isulan, Tupi, General Santos City, Laensasi, Pagang, as well as on Sarangani Island and Balut Island, which directly borders Marore Island in Indonesia. The visit by Consul General Agus Trenggono was conducted to personally observe the living conditions of Indonesian citizens in their respective homes and to strengthen engagement with the Indonesian community in Southern Mindanao.

During the visit, the Consul General handed over Indonesian passports to Indonesian citizens who had successfully obtained a 47(a)(2) visa, which serves as their residence permit while living and staying in Southern Mindanao and other parts of the Philippines. The issuance of the 47(a)(2) visa reflects the responsibility and commitment of the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City in providing protection and assistance to Indonesian citizens in Southern Mindanao. The visa application process was facilitated by the Consulate General through its strong cooperation and good relations with the Philippine Government, enabling a smoother and more accessible process. Under normal circumstances, the 47(a)(2) visa must be processed individually by the applicants themselves; however, the Consulate General was able to assist with the process in consideration of the economic circumstances of the Indonesian citizens concerned.

A total of ten Indonesian citizens residing in various areas, including Isulan, Tupi, General Santos City, Laensasi, Pagang, Balut Island, and Sarangani Island, were visited by the Consul General. The recipients expressed their pride and gratitude for the personal visit, noting that the Consul General took the time to communicate with them directly and assess their living conditions firsthand. “Without the assistance and active role of the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City, it would have been impossible for us to obtain the 47(a)(2) visa,” said several of the Indonesian citizens who received their Indonesian passports and residence permits during the visit. They also expressed their appreciation for the excellent services and support provided by the Consulate General of Indonesia in Davao City.

Sehubungan dengan terjadinya gempa bumi berkekuatan M 7,8 di Mindanao pada tanggal 8 Juni 2026 pukul 07.37 waktu setempat, bersama ini Konsulat Jenderal Republik Indonesia (KJRI) Davao City menghimbau kepada seluruh Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI) yang berada di wilayah Mindanao untuk:

1. Senantiasa mengikuti arahan dan imbauan otoritas serta aparat setempat;
2. Meningkatkan kewaspadaan serta menjaga keamanan diri dan keluarga;
3. Menjaga komunikasi dengan keluarga maupun kerabat melalui sarana telekomunikasi yang tersedia;

𝐊𝐉𝐑𝐈 𝐃𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐎 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐔𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐍 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐈 𝐋𝐀𝐇𝐈𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Davao City, 1 Juni 2026 – KJRI Davao City mengadakan Upacara Peringatan Hari Lahir Pancasila Tahun 2026 di Ruang Nusantara. Upacara berlangsung dengan khidmat dan diikuti oleh seluruh Home Staff, Local Staff, perwakilan Guru Sekolah Indonesia Davao (SID), serta Dharma Wanita Persatuan KJRI Davao City.

Peringatan Hari Lahir Pancasila Tahun 2026 mengusung tema “Pancasila Pemersatu Bangsa, Fondasi Perdamaian Dunia”, sebagaimana ditetapkan oleh Badan Pembinaan Ideologi Pancasila (BPIP). Upacara dipimpin oleh Konsul Jenderal RI Davao City selaku Inspektur Upacara dan Staf Teknis Polri selaku Komandan Upacara.

Melalui peringatan ini, KJRI Davao City mengajak seluruh masyarakat Indonesia di Filipina Selatan untuk terus mengamalkan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, menjaga persatuan, serta berkontribusi positif dalam mempererat hubungan persahabatan antarbangsa. Upacara ditutup dengan doa bersama sebagai ungkapan syukur dan harapan agar Indonesia senantiasa menjadi bangsa yang maju, damai, dan sejahtera.

Diharapkan semangat dan nilai-nilai Pancasila dapat terus diwariskan kepada generasi muda Indonesia di luar negeri sebagai bekal untuk menjadi insan yang berintegritas, cinta tanah air, serta mampu membawa nama baik Indonesia di tingkat regional maupun global.

Davao City, 1 June 2026 – CGRI Davao City held the 2026 Pancasila Day Commemoration Ceremony at Ruang Nusantara. The ceremony was conducted solemnly and attended by all Home Staff, Local Staff, representatives of the Indonesian School of Davao teachers, and members of Indonesian Women’s Organization.

The 2026 Pancasila Day Commemoration carried the theme, “Pancasila: Uniting the Nation, the Foundation of World Peace,” as established by the Indonesian Agency for Pancasila Ideology Education (BPIP). The ceremony was led by the Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City as the Ceremony Inspector, while the Consul for Police Affairs served as the Ceremony Commander.

Through this commemoration, CgRI Davao City encouraged all Indonesians in Southern Philippines to continue embodying the values of Pancasila in their daily lives, uphold national unity, and contribute positively to strengthening friendship and cooperation among nations. The ceremony concluded with a collective prayer as an expression of gratitude and hope for Indonesia to remain a progressive, peaceful, and prosperous nation.

It is hoped that the spirit and values of Pancasila will continue to be passed on to younger generations of Indonesians living abroad, equipping them to become individuals of integrity, patriotism, and strong character who can uphold and promote Indonesia’s good name at both the regional and global levels.

Davao City, 27 Mei 2026 – KJRI Davao City bersama Dewan Kemakmuran Masjid Al-Ikhlas menyelenggarakan perayaan Hari Raya Idul Adha 1447 Hijriah/2026 Masehi di House of Indonesia, Davao City. Perayaan ini menjadi momentum penting untuk mempererat tali persaudaraan, memperkuat nilai kebersamaan, serta menumbuhkan semangat kepedulian di tengah masyarakat Indonesia di wilayah Filipina Selatan.

Rangkaian kegiatan diawali dengan pelaksanaan Shalat Idul Adha yang berlangsung pada pagi hari dan diikuti oleh keluarga besar KJRI Davao City, meliputi home staff, lokal staff, guru dan tenaga kependidikan Sekolah Indonesia Davao (SID), Ketua dan anggota Dharma Wanita Persatuan, serta masyarakat Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI) yang berdomisili di sekitar Davao City.

Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan penyembelihan hewan kurban berupa dua ekor sapi dan tiga ekor kambing. Daging kurban kemudian didistribusikan kepada para peserta dan masyarakat sekitar sebagai bentuk semangat berbagi dan solidaritas sosial, sekaligus memperkuat harmoni serta kebersamaan di lingkungan masyarakat multikultural.

Melalui peringatan Idul Adha ini, KJRI Davao City berharap nilai-nilai pengorbanan, keikhlasan, dan gotong royong dapat terus menjadi penguat persaudaraan antarwarga Indonesia di perantauan, sekaligus mempererat hubungan sosial di tengah masyarakat Filipina Selatan yang beragam.

Davao City, 27 May 2026 – The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (CGRI) in Davao City, in collaboration with the Al-Ikhlas Mosque, organized the commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri/2026 at the House of Indonesia, Davao City. The celebration served as an important occasion to strengthen bonds of brotherhood, reinforce the spirit of togetherness, and foster solidarity among the Indonesian community in Southern Philippines.

The series of activities commenced with the Eid al-Adha prayer held in the morning, attended by the extended family of CGRI Davao City, including home staff, local staff, teachers and education personnel of the Indonesian School of Davao (SID), the Chairperson and members of Indonesian Women’s Organization, as well as Indonesian nationals residing in and around Davao City.

The event continued with the ritual sacrifice of two cows and three goats. The sacrificial meat was subsequently distributed to participants and surrounding communities as a manifestation of the spirit of sharing and social solidarity, while also promoting harmony and togetherness within the multicultural community.

Through this Eid al-Adha commemoration, CGRI Davao City hopes that the values of sacrifice, sincerity, and mutual cooperation will continue to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among Indonesians living abroad, while further fostering social harmony within the diverse communities of Southern Philippines.

Davao City, 29 Mei 2026 – KJRI Davao City yang dipimpin oleh Konsul Jenderal Republik Indonesia melaksanakan penyerahan paspor beserta izin tinggal kepada Registered Indonesian Nationals (RINs) dalam kegiatan yang diselenggarakan di Kantor KJRI Davao City. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari komitmen KJRI Davao City dalam memperkuat pelindungan, kepastian hukum, dan tertib administrasi keimigrasian bagi Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI) di wilayah Filipina Selatan.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, penyerahan dokumen dilakukan secara simbolis kepada lima orang WNI penerima sebagai representasi dari para Registered Indonesian Nationals (RINs) yang telah menyelesaikan proses administrasi kewarganegaraan dan keimigrasian. Penyerahan paspor dan izin tinggal ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kepastian status hukum, kemudahan mobilitas, serta akses yang lebih baik terhadap layanan administrasi dan pelindungan dari negara.

Konsul Jenderal RI Davao City menegaskan pentingnya kepemilikan dokumen perjalanan dan izin tinggal yang sah sebagai bagian dari upaya pelindungan negara kepada WNI di luar negeri. Pada kesempatan yang sama, Staf Teknis Imigrasi KJRI Davao City menyampaikan agar para penerima dapat menjaga dan menggunakan dokumen keimigrasian tersebut dengan baik, serta senantiasa memastikan status keimigrasian tetap sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku di Filipina. Disampaikan p**a pentingnya memperbarui dokumen secara tepat waktu dan menjaga komunikasi dengan KJRI Davao City apabila menghadapi kendala administratif maupun keimigrasian.

Davao City, 29 May 2026 – The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City, led by the Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia, conducted the handover of passports and residence permits to Registered Indonesian Nationals (RINs) during an event held at the CGRI Davao City Office. The activity forms part of CgRI Davao City’s commitment to strengthening protection, legal certainty, and orderly immigration administration for Indonesian citizens residing in Southern Philippines.

On this occasion, the documents were symbolically handed over to five Indonesian nationals, representing Registered Indonesian Nationals (RINs) who had completed the required citizenship and immigration administrative processes. The issuance of passports and residence permits is expected to provide greater legal certainty, facilitate mobility, and improve access to administrative services and state protection.

The Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City emphasized the importance of possessing valid travel documents and residence permits as part of the State’s commitment to protecting Indonesian citizens abroad. On the same occasion, the Immigration Technical Staff of CGRI Davao City advised the recipients to properly safeguard and utilize their immigration documents and to ensure that their immigration status remains compliant with applicable regulations in the Philippines. The importance of timely document renewal and maintaining communication with CGRI Davao City in addressing any administrative or immigration-related concerns was also highlighted.
