𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙖, 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣!

It’s Children’s Month! A special time where we honor, appreciate, and celebrate the rights, talents, and bright potential of every child. This celebration reminds us to create spaces where children feel valued, heard, and empowered.

As part of this meaningful month, we want our culmination activity to be something that truly reflects what you, our students, want. That’s why we are opening a Suggestion Page where you can freely share your ideas, wishes, and activities you’d love to experience during the celebration.

Your suggestions matter, let us know what you want to happen on the culmination!

Life is often unpredictable, filled with hurdles that can either hold us back or propel us forward. For Jullian B. Dablo, Davao City Athletic Association (DCAA) Meet 2025 Paralympic Athlete qualifier, it became the foundation for an inspiring journey of resilience, courage, and triumph.

Representing Cluster Six in the recently concluded Unit Three Athletic Meet 2025, the Sto. Niño National High School’s (SNNHS) standout has once again proven that disability is never a limitation to greatness.

“Never be afraid to try, because there is nothing to lose when you give your best,” she mentioned.

Before finding her path in para-athletics, Dablo’s first love was dance sports. But when her leg was amputated, she thought her dreams had ended.

The once-vibrant passion she carried seemed to vanish. Yet, with the unwavering support of her parents and teachers, she found new hope and embraced athletics with renewed determination.

Being a para-athlete has not been easy. Dablo has faced skepticism and discouraging remarks, but she turned those doubts into fuel for her journey.

“Some people questioned my choice of sport, but ultimately, their reactions reaffirmed my path in athletics,” she shared.

Instead of letting negativity consume her, she used it to strengthen her resolve. “My self-esteem has driven me to pursue my dream of becoming an athlete,” she added.

Her dedication has already borne fruit. At the Palarong Pambansa 2025 in Ilocos Norte, Dablo proudly represented the Davao Region, earning a silver medal in the Paralympic Games Athletics OH (G) – Shot put Secondary event.

Now, her journey continues as she secured a spot in the DCAA Meet 2025, with her eyes firmly set on qualifying for the Davao Regional Athletic Association (DAVRAA) Meet 2026.

For Dablo, her success is not only for herself but also for every learner with disabilities who dreams of becoming an athlete.
