[15 JUNE 2026] FLAG RAISING CEREMONY | Under the leadership of FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG, DSC, Regional Director, the men and women of Bureau of Fire Protection Region 11 gathered for the regular Flag-Raising Ceremony held this morning at the Central Parking Bay, Alvarez Street, Davao City.

As part of the activity, FCINSP DANNY BOY D MONLOY, Chief of the Finance and Management Division, served as the Troop Information and Education speaker. In his message, he encouraged personnel to reflect on the true meaning of wealth, emphasizing that richness is not solely measured by financial assets but also by good health, meaningful relationships, personal accomplishments, and a life dedicated to service and purpose.

The activity served as a reminder for BFP personnel to remain grateful for the blessings they possess and to continue pursuing a meaningful and fulfilling life both in public service and in their personal endeavors.

[12 JUNE 2026] | Bureau of Fire Protection 11 led by FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG, Regional Director, participated in the simultaneous flag-raising ceremony held at Central Parking Bay, Alvarez Street, Davao City in celebration of the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence.

Guided by this year’s national theme, "Kalayaan. Kasaysayan. Kinabukasan," the BFP 11 pays tribute to the profound history and the selfless heroes who fought for our freedom (Kalayaan). In honoring our past (Kasaysayan), the men and women of the fire service march forward into the future (Kinabukasan) with a renewed commitment to public safety—burning with dedication to protect and serve the Filipino people toward a safer, resilient nation.

Ang ating pakikipaglaban sa apoy, pagtugon sa mga sakuna, at paggabay sa komunidad ay mga buhay na patunay ng ating dedikasyon na magsilbi ng tapat at pagmamahal sa bayan.

JOSE ABAD SANTOS, DAVAO OCCIDENTAL (11 JUNE 2026) - Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Region 11 Regional Director, FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG, DSC, conducted an urgent ocular inspection of the Jose Abad Santos (JAS) Fire Station today to assess facility damage and operational readiness following the recent earthquake.

​During the visit, FCSUPT MASLANG met with JAS Mayor Jason John Joyce to coordinate emergency response operations. The Regional Director committed the full support of the regional office, promising the immediate deployment of additional BFP personnel and specialized rescue equipment to reinforce local clearing and relief efforts in the municipality.

Under the leadership of the BFP Officer-in-Charge, FCSUPT WILBERTO RICO NEIL A KWAN TIU, the Bureau of Fire Protection Regional Headquarters 11 led by Regional Director FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG extends its deepest sympathies and prayers to the families who lost their loved ones in the recent magnitude 7.8 earthquake.

We grieve with the entire Mindanaoan community and pray for the eternal repose of the departed, as well as the strength and healing of those affected.

Nakibahagi ang Kawanihan ng Pamatay Sunog sa ilalim ng pamamahala ni Fire Chief Superintendent Wilberto Rico Neil A Kwan Tiu, Officer-in-Charge, BFP, katuwang ang iba't ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan, mga opisyal ng barangay, at mga residente ng Barangay La Virgen Milagrosa, Badoc, Ilocos Region, sa isinagawang oil spill response operation matapos ang pagsadsad ng MSCI 1, isang cargo vessel, sa nasabing lugar kahapon.

Kabilang sa mga isinagawang hakbang ang pag-alis ng tumagas na langis at pagsasagawa ng clean-up drive upang mapigilan ang pagkalat ng kontaminasyon at mabawasan ang epekto nito sa kapaligiran at yamang-dagat.
