Baracayo Integrated School successfully conducted its 2nd SPTA General Assembly on September 11, 2026. The program began with a warm welcome from Ma'am Shirley W. Coquilla during her opening remarks, setting a positive tone for the day. Following this, School Head Marivic Aguilar Obatonon presented the school’s recent accomplishments, showing the community how much the school has grown with the school mantra Promoting Excellence, Transforming lives .

The event was well-attended by supportive parents and guardians, alongside our active leaders, including PTA President Rustom Nunal and SGC elected Chairperson Teddy Verano.

To ensure transparency, PTA Treasurer Rejean P. Sayloon presented the PTA Fund financial report to the parents.
Following this, the main agenda was introduced by SGC designated Chairperson Ma'am Geraldine Siarot, who presented the proposed Centralized School Paging System.

This project is a crucial safety upgrade required by the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) guidelines to ensure fast, clear announcements during emergencies.Immediately after the general assembly, parents and guardians proceeded to their respective classrooms for the distribution of the 1st term school report cards.

The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their valuable time, their continued partnership, and for officially approving the new paging system project for the welfare and safety of our learners!

A productive and meaningful Day 1 of the School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) at Baracayo Integrated School as teachers actively engaged in discussions, sharing, and reflection for continuous professional growth.

The session was led by our School Head, Ma’am Marivic Aguilar Obatonon , with the following topics discussed: DO 6, s. 2024, DO 15, s. 2026, and revisiting of the School Handbook and its policies. The session provided an opportunity for everyone to refresh their knowledge, clarify concerns, and strengthen our shared commitment to proper policies and responsible practice.

Congratulations to our very own Alexandre Podunas for winning 1st Place (Gold Medal) in the Athletic Triple Jump Event during the Unit Meet 2026 Elementary Level! He is now officially a DCAA Qualifier.Thank you to his coach, Sir Rommel T. Villalongja, and to our active school head, Ma'am Marivic Aguilar Obatonon , for their guidance and support. We are grateful also to the parents for allowing and supporting Alexandre to join this event.We are so proud of you, Alexandre! Good luck at the DCAA Meet!

The 2nd School Governance Council (SGC) Consultative Meeting successfully convened today, September 9, 2026, at the school's Reading Center.Led by SGC Designated Co-Chairperson Geraldine R. Siarot, under the guidance of School Head Maam Marivic Aguilar Obatonon , and supported by Co-Chairperson Teddy C. Verano and Secretary Divine Grace G. Arobo, the council discussed key development initiatives, including an incoming proposed SGC project for a new school paging system. The session concluded with an open forum and a council vote, securing full support and approval from the council for the school's priority proposals.
