RMFB11, Camp Merecido, Davao City โ The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 11 (RMFB 11) together with Sandiwang Perlas Pilipinas, spearheaded a humanitarian relief operation dubbed โProject Bangon Davao Orientalโ on October 16, 2025, at Severino Taming Elementary School, Barangay Zaragosa, Manay, Davao Oriental, for the victims of the earthquakes that struck the province on October 10, 2025.
The activity was led by PLTCOL MICHAEL S. MELLORIA, Deputy Force Commander, under the supervision of PCOL JOSEPH A. FAJARDO JR, Force Commander, in partnership with and initiated by Sandiwang Perlas Pilipinas, a youth-led non-profit organization headed by Mr. Ron Edward Dulhao. Among the contributors and partners were the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office XI (PDEA 11), and several private schools, including Lyceum of the Philippines University and Ateneo de Davao University.
The donation drive aimed to bring immediate assistance to affected families, providing essential goods and support to help them recover from the disaster. Relief packs consisting of food items, water, clothing, medicines, and other basic necessities were distributed to the beneficiaries.
In his message, PCOL FAJARDO expressed his appreciation to all partner agencies and donors for their solidarity and bayanihan spirit. โThis activity embodies our commitment not only as protectors of peace but also as responders with compassion and genuine concern for the community,โ he said.
The event also served as the pre-launch of Project H.E.A.R.T. (Honesty, Empowerment, Accountability, Respect, Teamwork) โ RMFB 11โs flagship initiative designed to nurture โWarriors with a Heart for the Youth and Community.โ
Through this project, RMFB 11 continues to strengthen its partnership with civil society and government agencies to uphold its mission of service, compassion, and public safety.
