The Davao City DRRMO is geared towards leading the city in planning and coordinating disaster risk reduction and mana

gement efforts among agencies and barangays, and individuals. Education campaigns are also integral to the operations of this office, building capacities of communities and stakeholders in addressing disaster and climate change vulnerabilities. Efforts of this office are also cemented by institutionalizing policies, structures, coordinating mechanisms, building disaster-resilient communities in Davao City. The Davao City DRRMO is also driven to engage government institutions, civil society organizations, and the private sector in disaster risk reduction programs.
