The LGBT of Barangay San Antonio had its Gupitan Program during the Sto. Niño Fiesta last January 17, 2026. The gupitan program was spearheaded by the talented members of the organization aiming to give free services to our fellow constituents.

December 29, 2025— The LGBT of Barangay San Antonio, in partnership of the SK Council of Barangay San Antonio spearheaded the first-ever Limpyo Kalikasan Program: A Clean Up Drive Project which aims to clean the community in the barangay.

The project was a success with the help of the active LGBT of Barangay San Antonio Officers and Members and hardworking SK Officials of Barangay San Antonio.

The organization extends its gratitude to the members for their active participation and to the SK Officials who helped make this meaningful event successful!

𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 29, 2025— 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙂𝘽𝙏 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙎𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙩 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙎𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙤 𝙃𝙖𝙡𝙡. The event was attended by the renewing members which they also had to have a refresher on the topics relevant to the organization such as 𝑯𝑰𝑽 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝑶𝑮𝑰𝑬-𝑺𝑪 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔.

The organization invited Regie Manginsay and Oscar Obenza to discuss relevant topics surrounding HIV/AIDS Awareness and SOGIE-SC Education which are important for the LGBTQ+ Community. The organization also organized a confidential HIV Screening/Test for members who want to avail a free screening.

The event would not be possible without the help and contribution of the Barangay Council, headed by Barangay Captain Roger Galido and SK Council, headed by SK Chairperson Joven Cubio, as well as the other sponsors.

[𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐄𝐬𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐋𝐆𝐁𝐓𝐐+ 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦]

The LGBT of Barangay San Antonio recently concluded an Outreach Program through participating in the Brigada Skwela of Ciriaco Godoy Elementary School in Sto. Cruz, Davao Del Sur. The said activity was participated by the different LGBT Organization in Davao City last July 13, 2025. The organizations donated school supplies and provided different services such as "gupitan" as part of their outreach program.

The LGBT of Barangay San Antonio has been an active benefactor of the Outreach Program in Ciriaco Godoy Elementary School for 3 years now and aims to continue and extend more of its program in the next years to come.

The organization would like to thank all the benefactors and donor who extended their help.

[𝐃𝐮𝐚𝐰 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 2025]

The LGBT of Barangay San Antonio paraded their hearts out during the Duaw Davao 2025: Pride Parade last June 22 which was celebrated by the different LGBTQ+ Organization and allies of the community.

The event is a culmination of the power and call for action of the LGBTQ+ Community towards gender equality and protection that we still fight for until this day. Despite the detractors and challenges along the way, the community held their head high and featured their unfaltering confidence as they parade to show every Dabawenyos that they are brave.

December 22, 2024 — The LGBT Coalition of Davao City conducted a capacity building seminar on volunteerism among the LGBTQ+ Organization in Davao City led by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) which tackled about how the organization and its members can help in the nation building initiatives of the local government.

The event also concluded with the annual distribution of gift checks for the members who have actively participated in their organizations’ activities and have been participating in the nation building progress of the coalition.

Daghang salamat LGBT Coalition, LGU of Davao City, Mayor Sebastian Duterte, VP Inday Sara Duterte, and all the people behind this successful event!

𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 15, 2024— 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙂𝘽𝙏 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙎𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙩 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙎𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙤 𝙃𝙖𝙡𝙡. The event was attended by the members which they also had to have a refresher on the topics relevant to the organization such as 𝑯𝑰𝑽 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝑶𝑮𝑰𝑬-𝑺𝑪 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔.

Oscar Obenza Jr. was invited to discuss about HIV Awareness in which he shared new information about the virus and how it really affects the community about the stigma around it. The organization also had a free HIV Testing during the event. They also discussed important points on SOGIE-SC which was spearheaded by Regie B. Manginsay who emphasized the importance on knowing each others' SOGIE to avoid conflicts and to also start a meaningful discussion among all communities.

The event was also attended by the SK Chairperson Joven Cubio who also stated his gratitude to all the members and also the Barangay Captain, Roger Galido who also expressed his support to the organization and his future plans for the members.

The program also ended with the discussion on the plans for the organization and for its upcoming events.

[𝐃𝐔𝐀𝐖 𝐃𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐎 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐄]
June 23, 2024— The LGBT of Barangay San Antonio participated in the annual Pride March for the Duaw Davao 2024. The said event is a culmination of color and pride for the LGBTQ+ Community in its continuous fight against discrimination and stigma— thus, making it not just a celebration of colors but also a protest of our advocacies.

The event was also attended by the different LGBTQ+ Groups under the Davao City LGBT+ Coalition and other private groups/organization. Vice President, Inday Sara also graced the event to celebrate the colorful parade of the community.
