Nakuha sa Davao Region ang 3rd Place sa kinatibuk-ang performance alang sa Climate-Resilient Agriculture (CRA) Projects sa 1st Semester sa 2026!

Gidawat ang pasidungog niadtong Hulyo 29, 2026 sa Iloilo City.

Kini nga pasidungog nagpakita sa walay paglubad nga dedikasyon ug pagtunabagay sa mga mag-uuma ug sa DA-RFO XI sa paghatag og gahum sa agriculture sector sa rehiyon pinaagi sa climate-smart nga mga teknolohiya, lig-on nga pamaagi sa pag-uma, ug malungtaron nga panginabuhian.

Dakong garbo alang sa mga mag-uuma ug sa AMIA (Adaptation and Mitigation Initiative in Agriculture) Program sa Davao Region sa pagdawat og pasidungog atol sa gipahigayon nga Management Committee (ManCom) Meeting sa Department of Agriculture-RFO XI.

Giila ang AMIA program tungod sa dako niining kontribusyon sa pagkab-ot sa taas nga PAS 2025 rating sa atong ahensya. Ang AMIA usab ang nag-una sa tanang locally funded projects sa DA-RFO XI.

Kini nga kalampusan usa ka testamento sa dedikasyon sa tibuok team sa pagpalambo sa climate-resilient agriculture sa rehiyon.

Padayon kitang maningkamot aron masiguro ang kaayohan sa atong mga mag-uuma ug ang kalig-on sa sektor sa agrikultura taliwala sa nagkadaiyang hagit sa klima.

𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐀 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐆𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐝 𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥 | The Department of Agriculture – Davao Region honored outstanding AMIA Villages, Local Government Units, farmer organizations, and partner institutions during the Gawad ng Parangal held as part of the 1st Regional AMIA Summit with the theme, "Bangon: Sama-samang Pagkilos para sa Matatag na Agrikultura sa Nagbabagong Klima."

The recognition highlighted the unwavering commitment of climate-resilient agriculture champions in promoting sustainable farming practices, strengthening community resilience, and advancing innovations that help farming communities adapt to the challenges of climate change. The ceremony also underscored the collective efforts of partners in building a more resilient, productive, and food-secure agricultural sector.

In her message, Agnes Catherine T. Miranda, CESO III, Director of the DA–Climate Resilient Agriculture Office, paid tribute to the invaluable role of farmers in nation-building.

"It is not your clothing that defines you, but the dignity you uphold and the pride you take in being a farmer. Your work feeds every Filipino and sustains our nation. Never underestimate the value of what you do—for without our farmers, there would be no food on our tables," Miranda said.

The Gawad ng Parangal served as a fitting tribute to the dedication, resilience, and invaluable contributions of farmers and partners who continue to champion climate-resilient agriculture and sustainable food production in the Davao Region.

Padayon ang Department of Agriculture - Adaptation and Mitigation Initiative in Agriculture (DA-AMIA XI) sa pagpakusog sa kahibalo kabahin sa climate resilient agriculture pinaagi sa nagpadayon nga Climate Resilient Field School (CRFS) sa probinsya sa Davao Oriental.

Niadtong Hunyo 10 ngadto sa 11, 2026, malampusong gipahigayon sa grupo ang CRFS sa nagkalain-laing lugar sa probinsya. Partikular nga gipahigayonan sa maong aktibidad mao ang mosunod nga mga barangay:

Kini nga inisyatibo nagsilbing usa ka dakong lakang aron mas mapalig-on ang climate resilience pinaagi sa padayon nga pagtuon (lifelong learning) sa mga mag-uuma sa tibuok rehiyon. Ang pagkat-on sa mga bag-ong pamaagi dako og matabang aron masagubang ang mga epekto sa nagkausab-usab nga panahon.

Sa laing bahin, gipahigayon pag-usab uban sa research Division-Livestock Section XI sa pagpanghatag ug 130 heads sa Itik-pinas ngadto sa Don Mariano Cacao Growers Association, para sa ilang pagbuhi para sa ilang enterprise project nga Duck egg production.

Ang maong kalihokan hugot nga gisuportahan ug nahimong posible pinaagi sa panag-uban sa lokal nga panggamhanan sa Davao Oriental, gikan sa ilang Provincial ug Municipal Agriculture Offices, uban sa pakig-alayon sa DA - Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (DA-AMAD XI) ug sa DA-Research Division-XI.
