The City Health Officeโ€“Population Division conducted the Pre-Marriage Orientation (PMO) for Kasalan ng Bayan on August 18, 2026, at Barangay Panacan, Davao City, providing would-be-couples with essential guidance as they prepare for marriage.

The orientation emphasized responsible parenthood, healthy family relationships, and informed decision making in marriage. Through this activity, couples gained valuable insights to help them build stronger, healthier, and more resilient families as they begin their married life.

The Free No-Scalpel Vasectomy (NSV) Drive was successfully held on August 12, 2026 at the NSV Facility in Davao City, in continued collaboration with the DKT Philippines Foundation. A total of 17 clients availed of the service, providing them with access to a safe, effective, and permanent family planning method.

The activity strengthens menโ€™s participation in family planning, encourages informed decision-making, and promotes responsible parenthood while supporting wider access to quality reproductive health services for families and communities.

Base sa datos sa Davao City Population Office sa Davao City Health Office, gikan Enero hangtod Hunyo 2026, dili muubos sa 250 ka lalaki ang mipailalom sa maong permanenteng family planning procedure, mas taas itandi sa 120 niadtong 2025.

Sumala ni Jerielyn Lewis, Head sa City Population Office, gilauman pa nga mosaka ang ihap hangtod sa mahuman ang tuig, ilabina nga duna paโ€™y kapin 30 ka mga kalalakin-an ang nagpadayag og interes nga mupailalom sa proseso.

Dugang ni Lewis nga usa sa mga hinungdan sa pagsaka sa gidaghanon ang pagpalapad sa information and education campaign sa buhatan kabahin sa family planning ug no-scalpel vasectomy.
