Switzerland is surreal 🇨🇭🏔🥾

you really just drive, get on a gondola, hike a few miles, and see views like this….then you can get a hot chocolate and warm up while taking in the views. You can even sleep in the refugio AT this spot and wake up and experience it even longer…what a life. Europe hiking is so different from USA hiking. It’s quite amazing. Each great in their own ways.

The Ridge hike in Stoos is now our favorite hike in Switzerland!
The scenery is absolutely stunning and you get to ride the steepest funicular in the world (110% gradient).

🥾 Hike details:
You ride the steepest funicular in the world up to Stoos. From there we took the cablecar to Klingenstock and started the epic ridge hike to Fronalpstock. During the hike you have spectacular views of the Swiss mountains and see 10 lakes!
The hike is 2 hours and difficulty is moderate.

During summer, every Saturday, the cablecar from Fronalpstock is working until 10pm, so you can enjoy an incredible sunset 🌅

1. Belle Époque train from Montreux to Zweisimmen.
2. Grindelwald with stunning views & many activities & hikes.
3. Lake Brienz and her most beautiful street.
4. Klöntalersee with the beautiful turquoise lake.
5. Blausee with the clearest blue lake you could see the trout swimming
🌼 remember to take the free boat here, you will see the fish swimming through the clear glass on the bottom of the boat.
6. Mont Brè with the best views of the Swiss and Italian alps.
7. Caumasee nestled in a huge beautiful forest.
8. Zermatt is as iconic as it gets, and autumn up the mountains just beautiful
