On Thursday, October 15, the SDRRMC of CPGSHS conducted a drill for selected sections, practicing the Duck, Cover, and Hold technique. The SDRRM volunteers also demonstrated and taught essential first aid skills, including CPR, choking response, bandaging, and splinting, to promote safety and preparedness among students.

A fire broke out yesterday, afternoon, October 15, in Barangay Leon Garcia Sr. We are calling for your kindness and generosity to help the families affected by this unfortunate incident.

This donation drive is organized by the SDRRM Club of Carlos P. Garcia Senior High School to extend support and help to the affected families in need.

Carlos P. Garcia Senior High School (CPGSHS) held a School-PNP Safety and Security Orientation at the Rizal Gym to improve campus readiness against potential security concerns. Led by Sir George Salvador of the SDRRM Team and the Philippine National Police (PNP), the program focused on threat reporting, emergency communication, and standard safety protocols. Attendees included teachers, staff, and safety team members.

During the session, Police Lieutenant Vrent Ira Heinrich L. Valdesco from the Davao City Police Office SWAT and EOD-K9 Personnel discussed practical safety habits for the campus. They emphasized the importance of reporting suspicious activities immediately to the proper authorities, who are trained to handle evacuations and responses.

Through this orientation, the school community gained essential knowledge on reporting potential security threats, executing emergency responses, and implementing measures to maintain campus safety.

Batch 2 of the School Disaster Risk Management Club (SDRMC) successfully conducted a refresher session for the members, followed by the official distribution of club uniforms. This initiative reinforces the members' readiness, preparedness, and commitment to upholding safety standards within the school community.

During the Teacher Olympics event, the team provided medical standby and support to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants throughout the event. We also conducted classroom monitoring while teachers took part in the activities, helping maintain order, and proper supervision. Through these efforts, we contributed to the smooth and safe implementation of the event.

Our team provided campus monitoring, and first aid standby to ensure the safety of all students, faculty, and guests.

Thanks to all for your cooperation to make Pasundayag safe and successful.

The Student Disaster Risk Reduction Management Club (SDRRMC) assisted the Philippine National Police (PNP) and school guards during the morning security and bag checks to maintain a safe campus environment.

Following the security check, the SDRRMC team also inspected each fire extinguisher on the school grounds to ensure they are functional and ready for use in case of an emergency. 👮🏻🧯
