The 2nd City Mobile Force Company (2nd CMFC), Davao City Police Office (DCPO) reminds the public to remain vigilant against online scams, phishing, identity theft, and other cyber threats.

Everyone is encouraged to think before clicking suspicious links, protect passwords and OTPs, enable multi-factor authentication, keep devices updated, and avoid sharing sensitive personal information online.

Cybersecurity is a shared responsibility. By staying alert and practicing safe online habits, we can help prevent cybercrime and protect ourselves, our families, and our community.

The 2nd City Mobile Force Company (2nd CMFC), led by PLT VRENT IRA HEINRICH L VALDESCO, SWAT Team Leader under the direct supervision of PMAJ ROWEL M SALUDEZ, Acting Force Commander, together with City Explosive and Canine Unit led by PLT RACIAL R APLASCA conducted Orientation on Bomb Awareness and Discussion on Active Shooter Response through "OPLAN EDUKALIGTASAN" at the Philippine Science High School Davao Region Campus located at Tugbok, Davao City. Also conducted the same activity at the Davao Central College located at Toril, Davao City and at the Davao City National High School located at Bajada, Davao City.

The activity highlighted the importance of being vigilance, the essence of preparedness, rapid response, proper coordination, threat assessment for the protection of the student, faculty, staff of the aforementioned schools for the effective collaboration between the PNP and the community during emergency situation that may occur.

The activity further aimed to strengthen awareness on bomb threat situation and preparedness in the active shooting incident for emphasizing the safety and security of the school and community within Davao City.

The 2nd CMFC under the leadership of PMAJ ROWEL M SALUDEZ, Officer In-charge conducted its Squad Weekly Interactive Meeting (SWIM), providing an avenue for personnel to openly discuss concerns, share insights, strengthen teamwork, and promote camaraderie within the organization.
Through SWIM, the station continues to foster a culture of communication, unity, accountability and continuous improvement—all geared toward delivering better police service to the community.

🚶‍♂️ INTENSIFIED FOOT PATROL OPERATION
Personnel of the 2nd City Mobile Force Company (2nd CMFC), under the supervision of PMAJ ROWEL M SALUDEZ, OIC – Force Commander, conducted intensified foot patrol operations in key areas of responsibility to enhance police visibility, deter criminal activities, and strengthen community engagement.
The activity aimed to ensure public safety and security by maintaining a proactive police presence, engaging with residents and business establishments, and promoting crime prevention awareness. Through sustained foot patrol operations, the unit continues to foster stronger police-community relations while reinforcing peace, order, and security within the community.
The 2nd CMFC remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering responsive, community-oriented, and service-driven policing in support of a safer and more secure Davao City.

As part of the preparations for the Kadayawan Festival 2026, personnel of the 2nd City Mobile Force Company (2nd CMFC) participated in a Prayer Over Service this morning, August 1, 2026, led by PEMS Rico C. Solarte under the supervision of PMAJ ROWEL M SALUDEZ, OIC, and spearheaded by the 2nd CMFC Advisory Group through the initiative of Mr. Richard T. Chu.

United in faith and service, we prayed for God's guidance, protection, wisdom, and strength as we carry out our mission of ensuring a safe, peaceful, and secure Kadayawan Festival for everyone.
