Business Bureau - Davao City It standardizes the operation of all business establishments within the City of Davao by requiring the applicants with necessary documents.

The BUSINESS BUREAU under the Office of the City Mayor has its objective of providing effective system and practices in issuing Business Permits and Licences to the entrepreneurs of Davao City. The pleasant atmosphere coupled with prompt services which the office extends to the transacting public create a trouble-free transaction. Several strategies are implemented in response to the mandate of ac

hieving economic growth which include the enhancement of technologies such as barcoding of permit, the use of barcode reader, queuing machine, scanning of files for record purposes and updating of the eBTS/occupational System of the office. Morever, a β€œOne-Stop Shop Program” is establised subject to the provision of Ordinance No. 0024-04 Series of 2004 where the office of the City Mayor through the Business Bureau and other concerned offices joined forces and gathered in one location particularly at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Building. Aside from issuance of permits, the business bureau performs other services to attain its goal of intensifying its revenue collection particularly in the business taxes and related fees and charges.

Due to the recent earthquake experienced in Davao City, classes at all levels, both public and private institutions, and work in all local and national government offices within the city are hereby suspended effective immediately, today, June 8, 2026.

Private offices and institutions are likewise encouraged to do the same to ensure the welfare and safety of their employees .
