CONTINUING IMPROVEMENTS FOR OUR MADRASAH LEARNERS

As part of the ongoing rehabilitation of the Madrasah, we are pleased to turn over newly repaired and brand-new table furniture for our Arabic learners.

This initiative is implemented by the Barangay Local Government Unit of Damawato under the dedicated leadership of our active Punong Barangay, Hon. Armstrong K. Madidis.

Our sincere gratitude also goes to the committed and supportive Barangay Officials for sharing their time, effort, and service to complete these new tables — ensuring a better, more conducive learning space for our students.

Together, we build a brighter future for every learner! 🤝✨

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

TO ALL RESIDENTS OF BARANGAY DAMAWATO

Please be informed that the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Energy (MENRE), will be conducting a Municipal Geohazard Assessment and Mapping within our Municipality on September 1, 2026.

The said activity is in line with the implementation of the Geological Risk Reduction and Resiliency Program of MENRE, which aims to identify areas within the administrative jurisdiction of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) that are susceptible to rain-induced landslides and flooding, as well as to increase public awareness of natural hazards in order to mitigate their negative impacts and promote more rational development planning and disaster management.

The assessment and mapping activity will be conducted in each Purok of Barangay Damawato. All residents are encouraged to cooperate with the MENRE personnel and field teams during the conduct of the activity.

In line with this, all Barangay Sangguniang Members are required to assist, coordinate, and be available during the said activity to ensure its smooth and orderly implementation in every Purok.

Your cooperation and support are highly appreciated as we work together toward a safer, more resilient, and disaster-prepared Barangay Damawato.

Please be guided accordingly.

PARA SA LAHAT NG MGA RESIDENTE NG BARANGAY DAMAWATO

Ipinababatid po sa lahat ng residente ng Barangay Damawato na ang Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Energy (MENRE) ay magsasagawa ng Municipal Geohazard Assessment and Mapping sa ating Munisipalidad sa darating na Setyembre 1, 2026.

Ang nasabing aktibidad ay bahagi ng pagpapatupad ng Geological Risk Reduction and Resiliency Program ng MENRE, na naglalayong tukuyin ang mga lugar sa nasasakupan ng Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) na maaaring maging delikado o madaling maapektuhan ng pagguho ng lupa dulot ng malakas o tuloy-tuloy na pag-ulan at pagbaha.

Layunin din ng aktibidad na mapataas ang kaalaman at kamalayan ng publiko tungkol sa mga natural na panganib, upang mabawasan ang masasamang epekto nito sa ating mga komunidad at makatulong sa mas maayos na pagpaplano ng pagpapaunlad ng lugar at pamamahala sa sakuna.

Ang assessment at mapping activity ay isasagawa sa bawat Purok ng Barangay Damawato. Hinihiling po ang buong pakikipagtulungan ng lahat ng residente sa mga kawani at field personnel ng MENRE habang isinasagawa ang nasabing aktibidad.

Kaugnay nito, inaatasan ang lahat ng Barangay Sangguniang Members na tumulong, makipag-ugnayan, at maging available sa panahon ng aktibidad upang matiyak ang maayos at mabilis na pagpapatupad nito sa bawat Purok.

Ang inyong pakikiisa at buong suporta ay lubos na pinahahalagahan para sa pagkakaroon ng mas ligtas, mas handa, at mas matatag na Barangay Damawato.

Mangyaring makipagtulungan at makiisa sa nasabing aktibidad.

🌿 CLEAN-UP DRIVE | BLGU-DAMAWATO 🌿

Early this morning, the BLGU-Damawato successfully conducted a Clean-Up Drive in Purok 1, particularly along the National Highway near the Barangay Hall. The activity brought together dedicated individuals who willingly shared their time and effort to clear away overgrown grass, bushes, and scattered wood along the roadside.

This meaningful initiative was led by the very active and humble Punong Barangay of Damawato, whose leadership continues to inspire community participation and volunteerism and this was also participated by the Barangay Officials including the Barangay Kagawads, BPAT, LUPON.

A clean and safe community starts with everyone doing their part. 💚👏

Together, let us keep Damawato clean, safe, and beautiful!

As part of our celebration, we held lively Parlor Games and Team Competitions where our Barangay Officials were grouped into 5 Teams, showcasing camaraderie, teamwork, and joyful unity! 🏆

Today, we joyfully celebrate 79 years of proud history, unity, and progress of our beloved Barangay Damawato! 🇵🇭

This meaningful celebration was made even more special with the full presence and solidarity of our entire Barangay family — led by our dedicated and active Punong Barangay HON. ARMSTRONG K. MADIDIS, together with the Sangguniang Barangay Members, Barangay Secretary, Barangay Treasurer, Barangay Nutrition Scholar, Barangay Health Officer and Health Workers, PSW - Damawato, BDRRMC, BPAT, Lupon Tagapamayapa Members including their Chairman, and all our hardworking Locally Paid Barangay Officials also attended by the Barangay Constituents.

Every official stood together as one, showing genuine commitment, wholehearted support, and shared pride in serving our community. It is this spirit of togetherness and public service that continues to guide Barangay Damawato toward greater heights and brighter days ahead.
