This initiative reflects the SKโ€™s commitment to investing in essential resources that support administrative functions, program implementation, and overall service delivery to the community.

The newly acquired computer units are expected to enhance documentation, communication, and overall productivity within the SK office, while also serving as valuable tools for future youth-related activities such as trainings, educational programs, and digital initiatives, as well as other programs requiring their utilization. Through this acquisition, the SK Poblacion underscores its commitment to good governance, transparency, and the continuous development of a more responsive and progressive barangay.

Trash bins were strategically placed in the public market, the TODA terminal, and selected madrasah schools to encourage proper waste disposal in areas with high public activity, helping reduce littering and maintain cleaner, safer, and more organized public spaces.

The activity also served as a reminder that maintaining a clean environment is a shared responsibility. By providing accessible waste bins and promoting proper waste management, the SK continues to inspire residents, students, vendors, and drivers to work together in keeping Barangay Poblacion clean, healthy, and sustainable for the benefit of the entire community.

Intelligence, awareness, and pride took center stage as Team Astrea emerged as the Champion of the Pride Quiz Bowl 2026, held on July 4, 2026, at the Municipal Training Center.

The competition gathered bright and competitive youth teams who showcased their knowledge and understanding of general education and Pride-related topics. Demonstrating exceptional mastery and composure throughout the rounds, Team Astrea secured the top spot, earning the title of this yearโ€™s champions.

Following closely behind, Team College Pipz delivered an impressive performance, earning the title of 1st Runner-Up. Team Mind Masters also showed remarkable intellect and competitiveness, claiming the 2nd Runner-Up position.

Meanwhile, Team Carlo placed as 3rd Runner-Up, followed by Team BeaYouthful as 4th Runner-Up, and Team Shia as 5th Runner-Up. Each team exhibited commendable effort, teamwork, and enthusiasm, contributing to the overall success and excitement of the event.

The Pride Quiz Bowl 2026 not only celebrated knowledge and academic excellence but also promoted respect, awareness, inclusivity, and unity among the youth of Datu Paglas. Last June 21, 2026, the SK-Poblacion Datu Paglas MDS distributed school supplies, school uniforms, and educational allowances to the SK Scholars of Poblacion. The program was intended for Grade 11 students of Datu Paglas National High School, particularly those from solo-parent families, to help lessen their school expenses and prepare them for the new school year.

Before the distribution, all applicants went through a screening process conducted by the SK Poblacion. The beneficiaries were selected based on the qualifications and requirements set by the office. Priority was given to students from solo-parent families and those with good academic performance. This ensured that the scholarship slots were given fairly to qualified and deserving students.

Through this program, SK Poblacion continues to support education and help young people achieve their dreams. By providing these school needs and financial assistance, the organization hopes to encourage students to stay in school, do their best, and build a brighter future.
