On June 5, 2026, SDO Dasmariñas officially launched Project TARA, BATIBOT! at the Edilberto S. Legaspi Integrated High School Covered Court. The event commenced with great enthusiasm as participants were welcomed by the lively and engaging TARA, BATIBOT! jingle, setting the stage for a meaningful celebration of literacy, environmental stewardship, and community collaboration.
The Division’s top management—Dr. Leticia T. Lopez, Dr. Galileo L. Go, and Dr. Elias A. Alicaya, Jr.—shared inspiring messages of support and encouragement. They were joined by esteemed partners and stakeholders who reaffirmed their commitment to the advocacy:
• Ms. Dina Petere and Ms. Joie Marie Salasbar (SPTA Presidents)
• Ms. Maria Jaele Camba (OMYA Minerals Philippines)
• Dr. George B. Albes, MPA (City of Dasmariñas Chamber of Commerce and Industry)
• Hon. Rommel Sarabusab and Hon. David John Paulo Laudato (Barangay Chairpersons)
• Ms. Eloisa Aguirre (City Environment and Natural Resources Office)
One of the highlights of the program was the localized storytelling segment, where Teacher Cyrene Mosqueda brought the proponent’s homegrown story to life. This was followed by the distribution of ARAL Kits and a commitment ceremony, during which participants affixed their signatures to the pledge wall as a symbol of their shared responsibility in supporting young readers and protecting the environment.
At the heart of this milestone is the invaluable support of the Social Mobilization and Networking Unit, whose dedication and commitment served as the vital link connecting Project TARA, BATIBOT! with its partners and stakeholders. Through their tireless efforts, meaningful partnerships were established, transforming a vision into a shared advocacy embraced by the community. Their contribution was instrumental in turning this initiative into a reality.
The success of the program was likewise made possible through the collective efforts of the Division’s teaching and non-teaching personnel, school heads, supervisors, and committee members, with special recognition and appreciation extended to Sir Jo Fil for his unwavering support of Cluster II initiatives.
Appreciation is also accorded to the SGOD family, especially the Youth Formation Team, Facilities Team, and DRRM Team, whose encouragement and support strengthened this undertaking. Likewise, although not everyone could be physically present, the love and support of our CID family and supervisors were deeply felt. Their trust, encouragement, and steadfast support continue to inspire and motivate us.
In her closing remarks, CID Chief Dr. Gemma G. Cortez beautifully expressed the Division’s unwavering commitment to initiatives that promote future-ready and learner-centered education, capturing the spirit of collaboration and shared purpose that binds the SDO Dasmariñas family together.
Indeed, this is only the beginning. Together with its partners, SDO Dasmariñas will continue to nurture a culture of reading and environmental responsibility through innovative study nooks crafted from upcycled plastics, creating learning spaces that are both sustainable and learner-friendly.
Special thanks are likewise extended to Uniform Kingdom, our trusted supplier and partner, for its generous donation of pencils for our learners.
What started as a dream has become a reality because of hearts willing to serve and hands willing to work together. This achievement stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, shared vision, and collective action.
TARA, BATIBOT!—where literacy grows, communities unite, and sustainability becomes a way of life.
