This Teachers’ Month, the Rizalian community begins with one thing at its heart: gratitude, officially commenced with a heartfelt tribute to the educators who continue to inspire, guide, and shape every Rizalian’s journey.

Through the voices of the presidents of Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), The Rizalian Publication, Senior Red Cross Youth (SRCY), Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), Girl Scouts of the Philippines, and Rovers, heartfelt words of appreciation were shared with the people who have made classrooms more than just places for learning. And as Salamat echoed throughout the celebration, one message filled the room: some thank-yous that deserve to be said louder.

With Ma’am Donna Olivia Marcos and Ma’am Joyce Padernos leading the kick-off, we begin a month-long celebration for the teachers behind countless lessons, memories, and dreams.

For every “Ma’am” and “Sir” who continues to teach, guide, inspire, and make a difference, this one's for you.

Isinagawa noong Agosto 26, 2026 sa DJPRSHS Covered Court ang Pampinid na Palatuntunan ng Buwan ng Wika, na sinimulan sa panalangin na pinangunahan ni Gng. Anna Lyn R. Andam, na sinundan ng Himno Rizalyano, pambungad na pananalita ni Bb. Leni Santos, at mensahe ng inspirasyon ni Gng. Rea C. Bunan.

Sinundan ito ng paggawad ng karangalan para sa mga nagpakitang-gilas sa iba’t ibang kategorya tulad ng Katutubong Kasuotan, Pagsulat ng Sanaysay, Paglikha ng Poster, Inpograpiks, Bidyo Adbokasi, Talumpating Di-Handa, Awiting Filipino, at Masining na Pagkukuwento, na pinangunahan nina Gng. Lorna Salcedo, Gng. Maynard Redublo, Gng. Rosalia Soriano, at Gng. Anna Lyn Andam.

Sa mensahe ni Gng. Rea C. Bunan, binigyang-diin niya ang mahalagang ugnayan ng teknolohiya at sariling wika, na ang AI ay isang kasangkapang makatutulong sa atin, ngunit ang wikang Filipino ang siyang ugat upang higit nating magamit at mapakinabangan ang kasangkapang ito. Kaya naman, nararapat lamang na lalo nating pagyabungin at pahalagahan ang sariling wika.

Nawa’y hindi lamang maging paalala ang Buwan ng Wika tuwing buwan ng Agosto, kundi magsilbi itong inspirasyon upang patuloy nating gamitin, pahalagahan, at pagyabungin ang wikang Filipino sa ating pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay, lalo na sa bagong paraan ng pagkatuto gamit ang teknolohiya at AI.

ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 4

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 134, alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented at all levels in public and private educational institutions in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 4, 2026, unless their respective Local Chief Executives direct the cancellation or suspension of classes:

Localized cancellation or suspension of classes in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives.
