Francisco E. Barzaga Memorial School (FEBMS) conducted the 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟖:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟓:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌, 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐀. 𝐒𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐝𝐚.
The orientation focused on the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐄𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 and policy updates aimed at improving educational quality, strengthening foundational learning, and enhancing teacher support and school management systems.
Key topics discussed during the orientation included Assessment, Grading and Awards System, Education in Emergencies, Lesson Planning, Three-Term School Calendar, and the Flexible Learning Program. These reforms aim to promote more effective, learner-centered, and adaptive teaching practices in response
to the evolving educational landscape.
The activity also served as an avenue for teachers to strengthen their understanding
of the new policies, align instructional practices with current reforms, and uphold quality education through professionalism, collaboration, and commitment.
