𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬
𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎–𝟐𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔
The 𝐏𝐘𝐀𝐏 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 actively participated in the "𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬" Youth Congress, organized by 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬. This three-day event was designed to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for gender equality, climate action, and inclusive development.
Alongside youth representatives from 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐬, Las 𝐏𝐢𝐧̃𝐚𝐬, and 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞, 𝐏𝐘𝐀𝐏 engaged in various learning sessions and interactive activities that promoted leadership development and meaningful community involvement. The congress also supported the Girls Agenda, focusing on strengthening the leadership capacities of girls and young women and encouraging their active participation in decision-making process
The congress served as a valuable and inspiring experience for 𝐏𝐘𝐀𝐏, reinforcing its dedication to youth empowerment, inclusive leadership, and community-based advocacy. The organization extends its sincere gratitude to Plan International Pilipinas for providing this opportunity and for sharing valuable knowledge on Climate Change, Mobile Journalism, and Peer Education. These learnings will be applied and shared within Paltreños to continue educating, empowering, and inspiring more young people.
