𝐋𝐢𝐩𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬 —Sa gabay ni DOTr Secretary Giovanni “Banoy” Z. Lopez, sa pamumuno ni Land Transportation Office (LTO) Asec. Markus V. Lacanilao na ilapit ang mga serbisyo ng LTO sa publiko, personal na tinanggap ngayong araw ni LTO Calabarzon Regional Director Elmer J. Decena ang parangal mula sa lokal na pamahalaan ng bayan ng Rosario, na kinatawan ni Vice Mayor Atanacio G. Zara, bilang pasasalamat sa matagumpay na pagpapatupad ng mga programang Free Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) at E-Patrol Caravan noong taong 2025.

Kinilala ng LGU Rosario ang malaking ambag ng mga programang ito sa pagpapalakas ng kaalaman sa road safety at sa pagbibigay ng mas madali at mas accessible na mga serbisyo ng LTO para sa mamamayan ng bayan.

Sa kanyang mensahe, pinasalamatan ni RD Decena ang LGU Rosario sa patuloy na tiwala at pakikipagtulungan, at iginiit na mananatiling bukas ang LTO Calabarzon sa mga programang maglalapit ng serbisyo ng pamahalaan sa publiko at magpapalakas ng kaligtasan sa kalsada.

Patuloy ang LTO Calabarzon sa pakikipagtulungan sa mga lokal na pamahalaan upang higit pang mailapit ang serbisyo sa publiko at maisulong ang ligtas at disiplinadong paggamit ng kalsada.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) wishes to clarify a matter of public concern regarding payment options for its services: the agency has not issued any order or directive limiting transactions to online payment only.

All LTO offices, district offices, extension offices, and allied service providers are authorized to accept multiple modes of payment, and clients have the full right to choose their preferred method – including cash, card, and other electronic payment channels as available. Any restriction of payment options to online payment only is unauthorized and not in line with LTO policies.

In addition, the LTO notes that convenience fees associated with some electronic payment channels are not imposed by the agency, nor are they reflected on official LTO receipts. These fees are collected by third-party payment service providers to cover the costs of their infrastructure and services. The LTO remains committed to eliminating fixers and ensuring transparent, efficient transactions for the public.

The public is urged to report any instance of unauthorized payment restrictions or unclear charges to LTO personnel at district offices, extension offices, allied service providers, or through the agency’s official social media platforms and communication channels.
