The Public Safety Unit (PSU) of the City of Dasmariñas continues to respond promptly to incidents that may pose risks to the public, as part of its daily commitment to hazard mitigation across the city.

On April 22, 2026, the PSU Team immediately responded to a report of a fallen tree along the road near Barzaga Compound, Brgy. Zone IV.

Due to the size and location of the tree, the operation required several hours to safely cut and clear the tree,
with continuation of works the following working day to fully complete the clearing.

The the team ensured that the area was secured and that no harm came to nearby residents throughout the response and clean up.

The PSU remains committed to swift action and public safety at all times.

Safety remains a priority.

On April 9, 2026, the Public Safety Unit received a report regarding a damaged and misaligned gutter at the footbridge along Aguinaldo Highway, situated in front of Robinsons Palapala.

The team promptly conducted repair works to mitigate potential hazards and ensure the safety of motorists passing through this high-traffic area.

On March 27, 2026, a truck passing along Don P. Campos St., approaching the intersection of Guevarra St., accidentally snagged overhead electrical wirings, which resulted in a post being dragged and striking a public utility tricycle.

The incident was reported to the Public Safety Unit (PSU) at 4:29 PM, and the team promptly responded to the site to address the situation.

Upon arrival, the team safely disentangled the affected wiring and removed the compromised post to prevent further hazards to pedestrians and motorists.

The situation was successfully resolved by 5:20 PM of the same day, ensuring the safety and normal flow of the area.

These were done to ensure the safety of residents, prevent possible hazards, and maintain the health and proper growth of trees.
