𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐊 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐏𝐒: 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Regional Office CALABARZON, through the leadership of 𝗝𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗢 𝗩 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗡 𝗝𝗥., Regional Director, conducted a “Talk to Troops” with the personnel of Dasmariñas City Jail.

The activity provided an avenue for open communication, meaningful dialogue, and the sharing of guidance and insights aimed at strengthening the morale, commitment, and professionalism of BJMP personnel in the performance of their duties.

The engagement was made meaningful through the leadership of 𝗝𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗢, City Warden of the Male Dormitory, and 𝗝𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗩𝗜 𝗔 𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗭, City Warden of the Female Dormitory, together with the dedicated personnel of Dasmariñas City Jail.

Through initiatives such as this, the BJMP continues to foster stronger leadership, better communication, and a united workforce committed to upholding the highest standards of public service.

As part of the continuing efforts to promote disaster preparedness, environmental awareness, and climate resilience, a Climate Change and Mitigation Seminar was successfully conducted for the personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) of Dasmariñas City Jail – Female Dormitory.

The seminar was facilitated by Mr. Reynor S. Calzado, City Government Department Head I of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO). The activity aimed to enhance the participants’ knowledge and awareness of the impacts of climate change, mitigation measures, disaster preparedness, and their shared responsibility in protecting the environment.

Through initiatives such as this, Dasmariñas City Jail continues to strengthen a culture of preparedness, responsibility, environmental stewardship, and resilience, contributing to the development of a safer, greener, and more climate-resilient community.

The Dasmariñas City Jail – Female Dormitory under the leadership of JSUPT MARVI A DIAZ, City Jail Warden conducted a Feeding Program for the students of Edilberto S. Legazpi Integrated High School, with the active participation of the school’s student leaders and teachers.

The initiative forms part of the facility’s continuing efforts to promote community engagement, social responsibility, and youth welfare through meaningful outreach activities. The program provided an opportunity to extend support to the students while fostering the values of service, compassion, discipline, and volunteerism.

The participation of the student leaders further strengthened the activity by encouraging youth involvement in community-based initiatives and promoting a culture of responsibility and active citizenship.

The Dasmariñas City Jail – Female Dormitory expresses its appreciation to the administration and student leaders headed by Ms. Ruchelle A Baysan, School Principal of Edilberto S. Legazpi Integrated High School for their cooperation and active participation in this endeavor.

Through sustained collaboration and community partnership, the BJMP remains committed to supporting initiatives that contribute to the welfare and development of the community.

In the spirit of community partnership, environmental stewardship, and volunteerism, the Dasmariñas City Jail – Female Dormitory under the leadership of JSUPT MARVI A DIAZ, City Jail Warden successfully conducted a Clean-Up Drive in collaboration with Edilberto S. Legazpi Integrated High School headed by Ruchelle A Baysan, School Principal with the active participation of its dedicated student leaders and teachers.

The activity served as a meaningful avenue to promote discipline, responsibility, and collective action toward maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment. The participation of the school’s student leaders also demonstrated the vital role of the youth in inspiring positive change and fostering a culture of service within the community.

Beyond the clean-up itself, the activity strengthened the partnership between the Dasmariñas City Jail – Female Dormitory and Edilberto S. Legazpi Integrated High School, proving that meaningful collaboration can create positive and lasting impact.

The Dasmariñas City Jail – Female Dormitory extends its heartfelt appreciation to the school administrators, teachers, and student leaders for their invaluable support, time, and active participation.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng 2026 Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa na may temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” isinagawa ang “Lakan at Lakambini,” sa pangunguna ni JO1 Reynalyn M. Constantino, Cultural and Sports Program Officer, na nilahukan ng siyam (9) na kalahok.

Higit pa sa korona at karangalan, ang Lakan at Lakambini ay pagdiriwang ng kagandahan ng kulturang Pilipino, talino, tiwala sa sarili, at pagmamalaki sa ating pagkakakilanlan. Sa bawat tindig, ngiti, at pagpapahayag, naipamalas ng mga kalahok na ang tunay na kagandahan ay higit na nasasalamin sa kumpiyansa, karakter, talento, at pagpapahalaga sa sariling kultura.

Sa pamamagitan ng makabuluhang gawaing ito, nabigyang-daan ang pagpapakita ng talento at potensyal ng mga kalahok, kasabay ng pagpapalalim ng kanilang pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino at sa mayamang kultura ng ating bayan.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 na may temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” isinagawa ang Hataw sa Kulturang Sayaw, na pinangunahan ni JO1 Reynalyn M. Constantino, Sports and Culture Officer, at aktibong nilahukan ng tatlumpu’t isang (31) kababaihang PDLs.

Sa pamamagitan ng masiglang paggalaw at pagsasayaw, nabigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng pagpapanatili at pagpapahalaga sa kulturang Pilipino, habang itinataguyod ang malusog na pangangatawan, positibong pananaw, disiplina, at pagkakaisa ng mga PDL.

Ang aktibidad ay nagsilbing makabuluhang pagkakataon upang maipamalas ang talento, sigla, at pagkamalikhain ng mga kababaihang PDL bilang bahagi ng kanilang patuloy na rehabilitasyon, paghubog ng sarili, at makabuluhang pakikilahok sa mga programang pangkultura.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 na may temang "Wikang Pilipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon," matagumpay na idinaos ang Rapsiklaban—isang makabuluhang rap battle sa loob ng piitan na nilahukan ng siyam (9) na natatanging kababaihan na pinangunahan ni JO1 Reynalyn M. Constantino, Sports and Culture Officer.

Higit sa ritmo at tugma, ang gawaing pangkulturang ito ay nagsilbing positibo at malikhaing daluyan ng pagpapahayag para sa ating mga Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL). Layunin nitong mapalawak ang kanilang pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino habang nalilinang ang kanilang talento, tiwala sa sarili, disiplina, at pakikipagkapwa bilang mahalagang bahagi ng kanilang rehabilitasyon.

Ang masaksihan ang kanilang mga kwento sa pamamagitan ng rap ay nagpapaalala sa atin na ang pagbabago ay patuloy na nagaganap, at ang wikang Filipino ay nananatiling matibay na tulay sa pag-asa at transpormasyon.

The Dasmariñas City Jail – Female Dormitory, through its City Jail Warden, JSUPT MARVI A DIAZ, participated in the Oath-Taking Ceremony of Hon. Elpidio A. Barzaga III, City Mayor of Dasmariñas, and Hon. Teofilo “Rudy” B. Lara, City Vice Mayor of Dasmariñas.

The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the continuation of public service and local governance, reaffirming the commitment of the city’s leadership to uphold integrity, accountability, and responsive service to the people of Dasmariñas.

The participation of JSUPT MARVI A DIAZ underscores the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology’s commitment to strengthening coordination and partnership with the local government in advancing public safety, effective jail management, and the welfare, rehabilitation, and reintegration of persons deprived of liberty (PDLs).
