𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦!

Dapitan City District Jail, under the leadership of JSINSP AUGUSTUS WILMAR C MABILOG, OIC-Warden, proudly celebrates a 𝟏𝟎𝟎% 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘 in the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test conducted on March 29, 2026.

All twelve (12) Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) who took the examination successfully passed, with seven (7) qualifying for the Junior High School level and five (5) for the Elementary level. The assessment was administered by the ALS Field Testing Personnel headed by Mr. Juvy S. Pestañas, Principal of Dapitan City Experimental Elementary School.

This remarkable achievement reflects the commitment of the BJMP to providing quality educational opportunities and fostering personal growth among PDL, empowering them to become productive and responsible members of society.

𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗗𝗔 𝗘𝗦𝗞𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗗𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗡 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟

Dapitan City District Jail personnel, led by JSINSP AUGUSTUS WILMAR C MABILOG, Officer-in-Charge, actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela activity conducted at Dapitan City National High School, Dapitan City.

As part of its continuing commitment to community service and nation-building, BJMP-Dapitan rendered voluntary assistance in preparing the school facilities for the upcoming school year. This marks the second educational institution supported by the office under this year's Brigada Eskwela campaign.

𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹

On June 2, 2026, under the leadership of JSINSP AUGUSTUS WILMAR C MABILOG, OIC-Warden, personnel of Dapitan City District Jail actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela Program at Dapitan City Experimental Elementary School, Sta. Cruz, Dapitan City.

BJMP personnel rendered voluntary services through the cleaning of school grounds, clearing of overgrown vegetation, collection and proper disposal of waste materials, and other maintenance activities to help prepare a safe and conducive learning environment for students.

Dapitan City District Jail personnel, under the leadership of JSINSP AUGUSTUS WILMAR C MABILOG, OIC, actively join efforts in Brigada Eskwela 2026 in building safer and better learning environments for students.

Jail officers are not only dedicated in serving Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) within our walls but are also fully committed in serving the community—especially in helping prepare schools and support young learners.

June 1, 2026 – Personnel of Dapitan City District Jail, led by JSINSP AUGUSTUS WILMAR C MABILOG, Officer-in-Charge, and facilitated by SJO3 Danny Boy P Malacat, Chief Security and Control, actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-off Ceremony held at Burgos Elementary School.

The activity highlights BJMP's commitment to community engagement and support for the education sector through collective efforts in preparing schools for the opening of classes.

𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗗𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 (𝗦𝗢𝗣𝗔) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

June 1, 2026 – Dapitan City District Jail, under the leadership of JSINSP AUGUSTUS WILMAR C MABILOG, Officer-in-Charge, attended the State of the Province Address (SOPA) of Hon. Darel Dexter T. Uy, Provincial Governor of Zamboanga del Norte, held at the Zamboanga del Norte Convention and Sports Center.

During his address, Governor Uy highlighted the significant achievements, ongoing programs, completed projects, and future development agenda of the Provincial Government aimed at advancing the welfare and progress of the people of Zamboanga del Norte. He likewise reaffirmed the Provincial Government's commitment to supporting the various programs and initiatives of all BJMP facilities throughout the province.

The activity provided an opportunity for stakeholders to gain valuable insights into the province's direction and strengthened the partnership between the Provincial Government and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in promoting public service, community development, and institutional excellence.

Dapitan City District Jail-BJMPROIX, under the leadership of JSINSP AUGUSTUS WILMAR C MABILOG, OIC, successfully conducted a Joint Greyhound Operation in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Zamboanga del Norte (PDEA-ZDN) and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Dapitan on May 26, 2026, inside the jail facility.

The operation aimed to strengthen jail security measures and maintain a drug-free and safe environment within the facility. After a thorough inspection and search of designated areas, NO illegal drugs, explosives, contraband, or any prohibited items were discovered.

Simultaneously, drug testing was conducted among jail personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) to ensure compliance with the agency’s anti-illegal drug campaign and commitment to integrity and discipline. Results revealed that all personnel and PDL who underwent drug testing yielded negative results for any traces of illegal or prohibited drugs.

This successful activity reflects the unwavering commitment of Dapitan City District Jail, together with its partner agencies, in upholding professionalism, vigilance, and public trust while ensuring a secure, orderly, and drug-free custodial facility.

Nakikiisa ang Bureau of Jail Management and Penology sa ating mga kapatid na Muslim sa pagdiriwang ng Eid’l Adha, isang banal na okasyon na sumasalamin sa pananampalataya, sakripisyo, at pagsunod sa kalooban ng Diyos.

Sa paggunita ng mahalagang pagdiriwang na ito, patuloy na isinusulong ng BJMP ang pagkakaisa, respeto sa lahat ng pananampalataya, at kapayapaan sa ating mga komunidad.

Nawa’y maging mapayapa at makabuluhan ang pagdiriwang ng Eid’l Adha para sa lahat. 🌙
