PUBLIC ADVISORY:
AUGUST 28, 2026!
FACE TO FACE CLASS SUSPENSION FROM PRESCHOOL to SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL!

Due to prevailing bad weather condition and in the interest of public safety, classes from Preschool to Senior High School in public schools across the Municipality of Danglas are hereby suspended this afternoon, 28 August 2026. It is hereby advised to shift to appropriate Alternative Delivery Modes for learning continuity.

The public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take all necessary measures to protect life and property. Persons living in areas identified to be highly susceptible to hazards associated with the current weather system are advised to follow evacuation and other instructions from local officials.

As of 2:00 AM today, 18 August 2026, the Low Pressure Area (LPA 08f) is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and now has a “HIGH” chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, another Low Pressure Area (LPA 08g) is being monitored outside the PAR and has a “MEDIUM” chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

Ilang buwan bago ang nakatakdang Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) sa Nobyembre 2026, hinikayat ng Department of the Interior and Local Government–Cordillera Administrative Region (DILG-CAR) ang lahat ng barangay na simulan na ang maagang inventory ng mga ari-arian, rekord, at iba pang dokumento upang matiyak ang maayos na transisyon ng pamunuan at tuloy-tuloy na paghahatid ng serbisyo publiko.

Sa panayam sa Usapang PIA noong ika-9 ng Hulyo, 2026, sinabi ni DILG-CAR Regional Director Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda na ang maagang paghahanda ay makatutulong upang maiwasan ang mga problemang paulit-ulit na kinakaharap sa tuwing nagpapalit ng mga halal na opisyal sa barangay.
