The Danao City Jail-Female Dormitory proudly wrapped up the Sportsfest 2025 Celebration with an unforgettable culmination program! 💪🔥

Victorious participants from different sporting events, along with the 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝘀. 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁 2025, were honored for their dedication and outstanding performances.

In a special moment of celebration, prizes were personally awarded by our esteemed and ever- supportive 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏, 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐋 𝐌𝐈𝐉𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒 whose presence and encouragement uplifted both personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

On this Holy Night, the Danao City Jail-Female Dormitory, under the compassionate leadership of 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏, 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐋 𝐌𝐈𝐉𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒, together with dedicated personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), came together to celebrate the Resurrection — a reminder of renewed hope and reborn life.

Voices rose in prayer. Candles flickered not just with flame, but with faith. A living testament that redemption, faith, and the promise of new life reach every corner, and every soul, no matter where they are.

🌿Danao City Jail-Female Dormitory under the leadership of 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐋 𝐌𝐈𝐉𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒, 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏, marked a deeply moving spiritual Holy Week 2025 observance through a short sermon on “𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝑳𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔”, followed by a heartfelt recitation of the 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒂𝒓𝒚 and a solemn re-enactment of the 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒔. This powerful tribute to the final days of Jesus Christ was led with devotion by our dedicated Unit Interfaith Officers,with the inspiring participation of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL). 💖

This Holy Week serves to strengthen the faith and devotion of both our personnel and PDL, guiding us all to reflect on the sacrifices of Jesus Christ and His mission to save mankind. 🙌🌿

𝐉𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐏𝐇𝐔𝐒 𝐁 𝐉𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐆𝐀𝐎, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑨𝒅𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝑱𝑴𝑷𝑷𝑶-𝑪𝒆𝒃𝒖 conducted a Talk to Troops with the personnel of Danao City Jail – Male and Female Dormitories, under the leadership of 𝐉𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄 𝐑 𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐃𝐎 and 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐋 𝐌𝐈𝐉𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒, respectively.

During the talk, JSUPT JELIANGGAO emphasized the importance of vigilance, discipline, and dedication in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities, especially in upholding security and order within the facilities.

He also conducted a jail inspection to personally assess the condition of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL), as well as the welfare of personnel and the overall security measures in place—reaffirming the BJMP’s unwavering commitment to humane treatment and secure custody.

Beyond the walls of the Danao City Jail-Female Dormitory, a wave of compassion reached the children of 𝖲𝗂𝗍𝗂𝗈 𝖳𝖺𝗐𝗌𝖺𝗇, 𝖡𝗋𝗀𝗒. 𝖦𝗎𝗂𝗇𝗌𝖺𝗒, 𝖣𝖺𝗇𝖺𝗈 𝖢𝗂𝗍𝗒, 𝖢𝖾𝖻𝗎.

Led by 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣, 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐋 𝐌𝐈𝐉𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒, the dedicated personnel of the facility carried out a heartwarming 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, serving warm, nutritious “𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨” 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐣𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐞 and sharing stories that sparked 𝙟𝙤𝙮, 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 among the young hearts. 🥣✨

With unwavering dedication, the personnel of Danao City Jail-Female Dormitory, led by 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐋 𝐌𝐈𝐉𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒, Acting City Jail Warden, successfully planted twenty-five (25) mangrove propagules, strengthening coastal protection and contributing to the global fight against climate change. The activity was conducted at Sitio Tawsan, Barangay Guinsay, Danao City, Cebu🌊🌿

Isang dating rebelde ang naglahad ng pagbagsak ng New People’s Army (NPA) at nanawagan sa kanyang mga dating kasamahan na talikuran ang armadong pakikibaka. Sa isang press conference, inilahad ni Datu Jumoring Guaynon ang kanyang mga karanasan bilang dating Sekretaryo ng Peasant Bureau sa ilalim ng North Central Mindanao Regional Committee (NCMRC).
Ibinahagi ni Guaynon ang mga hamong kinakaharap ng mga rebelde dahil sa pagbaba ng suporta mula sa mga "white areas" na dati nilang pinagkukunan ng pagkain at suplay. Nanawagan siya sa mga nalalabing rebelde na bumalik sa mapayapang pamumuhay at tanggapin ang tulong mula sa gobyerno.
Sinabi ni Guaynon na ang desisyon niyang iwanan ang rebelyon ang naging pinakamabuting hakbang sa kanyang buhay. Ngayon, siya ay nakikinabang sa Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) ng gobyerno, kung saan natatanggap niya ang tulong pangkabuhayan, pabahay, at iba pang suporta.

Today, the Danao City Jail-Female Dormitory proudly launched the much-anticipated 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭 2025—an electrifying celebration of unity, resilience, and unwavering spirit. Spearheaded by the inspiring leadership of 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏, 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐋 𝐌𝐈𝐉𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒, this event not only showcased athletic talent but also highlighted the transformative power of solidarity and rehabilitation within the facility.

The festivities kicked off with a dynamic parade, where personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) marched side by side, embodying strength and camaraderie. A defining moment of the ceremony was the 𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, a powerful symbol of hope, determination, and the unyielding flame of resilience—graciously ignited by the Acting Warden.
