The Local Government Unit of Damulog hereby announces the immediate suspension of classes at all levels in both public and private schools until further notice following the earthquake experienced today.

In addition, work for both teaching and non-teaching personnel in all schools is likewise suspended to facilitate the conduct of safety inspections and assessments.

All School Heads and School Managers are directed to thoroughly inspect and evaluate school buildings, classrooms, and other facilities for any structural damage or potential hazards prior to the resumption of classes and work.

The public is strongly advised to remain alert and vigilant, as aftershocks may still occur. Updates and further announcements will be released as necessary.
