Emergency Water Interruption Notice

Please be informed that there is an emergency water interruption due to a technical problem at the Cambangyao Pumping Station.

Initial troubleshooting was conducted by our technical personnel; however, the issue requires further assessment by the VFD technician. Coordination is currently ongoing to restore normal pumping operations as soon as possible.

• Part of Balud
• Part of San Juan Solong-on

Subject: Implementation of Pro-Rated Billing Scheme Due to Water Supply Shortage

In line with Board Resolution No. 04-006, Series of 2026, the Dalaguete Water District informs all affected concessionaires of the implementation of a pro-rated billing scheme due to ongoing water supply shortages.

🔹 Coverage:
This applies to concessionaires regardless of classification who have recorded water consumption of five (5) cubic meters or below.

🔹 Billing Adjustment:
Water bills will be computed on a pro-rated basis proportional to the concessionaire’s actual meter consumption during the billing period.

The adjustment will be implemented for a period of two (2) months, for the affected areas such as:
•Sitio Cambanog
•Jolomaynon
•Sacsac
•Tapon
•Coro
•Mananggal
•Banhigan
•Cawayan

🔹 Reason for Implementation:
The water shortage, caused by reduced source capacity due to drought conditions and the El Niño phenomenon, has resulted in intermittent or insufficient water supply in affected service areas.

🔹 Possible Extension:
Subject to evaluation and management discretion, the implementation may be extended for an additional two (2) months if water supply conditions do not improve.

This measure aims to ensure fairness in billing, maintain public trust, and support customers affected by limited water availability.

Temporary Water Supply Rationing Schedule

Date: April 25, 2026

The Dalaguete Water District informs all affected consumers in selected Barangays of Central Zones and North Zones that a temporary alternate water supply schedule will be implemented due to limited water production from our Dingayop Spring.

Implementation Period:
Starting April 27, 2026 until May 31, 2026, and will resume normal water service immediately once Dingayop spring water production stabilizes and returns to normal levels

RATIONING SCHEDULE:
* Day 1:North Zones (Barangays: Part of Tapon, Mananggal, Coro, Banhigan & Cawayan)
* Day 2: Central Zones (Barangays: Part of Poblacion & Part of Tapon

(Repeat cycle as needed based on schedule)

IMPORTANT NOTES:
* Water supply will be available only during scheduled days.
* Consumers are advised to store sufficient water during supply hours.
* Please practice water conservation at all times.

This temporary measure is necessary to ensure equitable distribution of the limited water supply while production is still recovering.
