Highlighting the importance of safeguarding the well-being of adolescents within the education sector, the Division successfully conducted the Tabletop Forum on Adolescent Health on May 21 at Rexy Gelโs Place.
The gathering served as a vital avenue for dialogue and collaboration, bringing together focal persons from both division and school levels to strengthen their shared commitment to child protection.
Peter Jourdan G. Reyes said that the forum emphasized proactive measures and collective responsibility in addressing the health concerns of young learners, ensuring that schools remain safe and supportive environments for their holistic growth.
The discussions were enriched by the expertise of distinguished speakers: Peter Jourdan G. Reyes, Dr. Maxine Nicole C. Bacareza, Jake L. Tumala, and Cpl. Katrina E. Jayson, who shared valuable insights on adolescent health, protection mechanisms, and school-based interventions.
