Today, the Public Health Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Mental Health and the Occupational and Patient Safety Health Management Office, successfully conducted the Wellness Program Orientation at the Odeum, 5th Floor, OPD Building.
Bringing together our dedicated Wellness Warriors, the activity served as a powerful reminder that wellness is not just an initiative, it is a commitment to creating a healthier, happier, and more productive workforce.
The program commenced with an energetic Zumba session, where participants actively engaged in activities that promoted physical fitness, stress management, teamwork, and camaraderie. This was followed by the inspiring presentation of Mr. Bradley Bianzon on the Wellness Movement Program, encouraging employees to adopt healthy habits and maintain active lifestyles. The program was further enriched by the insightful discussion of Dr. Rogelio Garcia Jr. on health and wellness, highlighting the importance of nurturing physical, mental, and emotional well-being as essential foundations for both personal and professional growth.
True wellness is not measured solely by the absence of illness, but by the balance, strength, and purpose we bring to each day. A healthy employee is an empowered employee. When we invest in our health, we strengthen our ability to serve with passion, lead with confidence, and overcome challenges with resilience.
As Wellness Warriors, may we continue to promote wellness, positivity, and well-being within our respective units, inspiring others through our actions and commitment. Let us build a workplace where wellness becomes a way of life and where every employee is empowered to grow, thrive, and make a meaningful difference.
This activity was made possible with the full support and guidance of our PHU Head, Dr. Merliza Estaris, together with Dr. Nela Florian Burca, and the dedicated PHU staff, whose commitment and leadership continue to strengthen our wellness initiatives.
