With deepest grief and sorrow, CTU-Daanbantayan Campus joins the family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones of Prof. George Geollina, Chief Security Officer and former adviser of The Modern Fisher, in mourning his passing.
Sir George's passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of our campus community. Beyond his steadfast dedication to keeping our community safe, Sir George brought immense warmth, guidance, and heart to his work. He was more than an officer and a mentorโhe was a gentle protector and a true father figure who devoted his life to nurturing and empowering his students.
As adviser to The Modern Fisher, Sir George was among the brilliant minds who helped build the foundations of TMF. With his vision, patience, and unwavering faith in student journalism, he shaped TMF into what it is today. The strength, resilience, and voice that TMF carries now are part of his enduring legacyโa gift for which the organization will be eternally grateful.
As we grieve this immense loss, may we remember Sir George with profound gratitude for a life lived in service to others. May his remarkable contributions to CTU-Daanbantayan Campus continue to be honored, and may his enduring legacy remain in the hearts of all whose lives he touched.
