Ang People’s Day ay naglalayong maipalapit pa ang mga serbisyo ng ahensiya sa mga tao. Ito fin ay inyong pagkakataon na ipahayag ang inyong mga alalahanin ukol sa Kapaligiran at Likas na Yaman, ma-access ang mga serbisyo ng pamahalaan (DENR), at aktibong makilahok sa pagbuo ng mas magandang komunidad. Isama na ang inyong pamilya at mga kaibigan — sama-sama nating gawing espesyal ang araw na ito! 💚

Mga ilan sa mga serbisyo na aming mapaglilingkod ay ang mga sumusunod:
• Application for Free Patent (Agricultural and Residential)
• Application for Tree Cutting Permit, Transport Permit, Chainsaw Registration and Renewal
• Application for Special Patent for Government Properties

Ngayong ika-22 ng Abril, nakikiisa ang DENR National Capital Region sa pagdiriwang ng , isang pandaigdigang panawagan para sa pangangalaga at pagpapanumbalik ng ating nag-iisang tahanan.

Sa gitna ng urban challenges sa Metro Manila, mahalaga ang sama-samang pagkilos, mula sa pangangalaga ng ating mga ilog tulad ng Pasig River, hanggang sa pagpapanatili ng mga luntiang espasyo gaya ng La Mesa Watershed Reservation, at mga protected area gaya ng Las Piñas – Parañaque Wetland Park. Ang bawat maliit na hakbang, tamang pamamahala ng basura, pagtitipid sa likas na yaman, at pakikiisa sa mga programang pangkalikasan, ay may malaking ambag sa kinabukasan ng ating mga lungsod at bansa.

Ang Earth Day ay hindi lamang isang pagdiriwang, kundi isang paalala ng ating kolektibong responsibilidad: pangalagaan ang kalikasan ngayon, upang may maipamana pa bukas.

Sama-sama, para sa isang mas luntian, mas malinis, at mas matatag na kinabukasan.

𝟐 𝐍𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐞𝐝, 𝐆𝐮𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐏𝟏𝐌 𝐊𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞

Antique – Two individuals were apprehended in a joint anti-illegal logging operation conducted by the Libertad Municipal Police Station (MPS) and the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Culasi at Brgy. Inyawan, Libertad, Antique around 2:30 PM on April 20, 2026.

Arrested were alias “Rogelio”, 60 years old, and alias “Rogen”, 26 years old, both farmers and residents of the said barangay. They were caught in the act of cutting and burning assorted trees (kaingin) for land clearing purposes.

During the arrest, alias “Rogen” resisted and drew his firearm. However, he was immediately subdued by responding personnel, leading to the successful seizure of the weapon.

Recovered from the suspects were one (1) caliber .357 revolver without serial number loaded with five (5) live ammunition, multiple pieces of charred and partially burned logs of various species, with an estimated value of PhP 1,026,004.46 along with two (2) bolos.

The arrested individuals, along with the recovered firearm and other pieces of evidence, were brought to Libertad MPS for proper disposition. Appropriate charges for violation of forestry laws and illegal possession of firearm are being prepared against the suspects.

The Regional Director of PRO6, PBGEN JOSEFINO D LIGAN, emphasized the importance of protecting the environment and strictly enforcing the law.

“We will not tolerate any form of environmental destruction and illegal possession of fi****ms. This successful operation highlights our firm commitment to safeguard our natural resources and ensure public safety. We call on the public to remain vigilant and support our efforts by reporting illegal activities in their communities,” PBGEN LIGAN said.
